Bought this camera a couple of weeks back. Impressed with the features and image quality even at 30x full zoom. Even you can take stunning macro pictures as close as 1 cm. Gives you a feeling of DSLR in your hands without need for any extra lenses.

its almost an slr..buy not completely..yes it has manual settings of aperture, iso, shutter speed...so its almost an slr..it has manual focus but u cant set focus points..it also has raw format which is great as the pics are in full quakity..the battery life is great..it hs manual zoom..and the zoom is more thm slrs of 50000 rs..it has a great exr mode whch does detect modes on its own..so if u cant knw wht to do put it on tht..it also has various other modes like beauty face, filters, auto nd all..the battery is lithiom ion and takes approx 400 shots..the lcd is movable verticaly but not completely..it has a evf fr pro people..all total a gud cam if y dnt have a problem with fuji brand

After using near about one month I feel it is the best camera for learning photography. 30X zoom is enough for beginners. Any one can take Great photos in Auto Mode. Just Frame the Seen by turning Lens, Half press the Shutter to set focus and then click. Macro mode is excellent. I frame easily to capture bird. very good for street photography. Still now there are some options unexplored to me like panorama, 3D photo etc. Image Quality is excellent. Easy to use. The only thing I observed there is no picking option.So you have to depend your eyes to set focus.(Manual Focus Mode) which is also great for learning otherwise you have to move HS50 for a bit higher prise. You Never think using this camera as a very good video recorder. It is a excellent still camera with DSLR like and support video recording.

Great product.. But the auto focus system is very bad... It is too late...
