with experience this is a masterpiece

1st of all I am freelance pro photographer......nand if you know the basics of photography this is the best zoom camera you can find in the Indian market... no human beings can focus without stand for a 1200mm lensat full zoom....!!! with all things this is a monster that needs to be unleashed.....!!!! & this is not for the noob's but for pro's or semi pro's those who really cannot afford any cannon 400-800mm or nikkor equivalent worth nINR 200000..............!!!!

The worst cam.

I personally own this cam. I have a hobby of photography.I first decided to buy a dslr but after some time I changed my mind to go for this cam as i find it difficult to carry the dslr kit every time.but after some time i thought that i have made the worst decision in life ever.the zoom is very pathetic.it can only zoom upto 5x and digital zoom is 10x.the flash range is very less-only 1metre.huh! It cannot also click a pic of a moving fan(2000rpm) clearly.my sony cybershot dsc w710 can click the pic of a moving fan(2000rpm) very clearly with lots of detail.i am now feeling cheated.I recommend buyers not to go for this cam.

Value for money!

I was seriously considering to buy one of the super-zoom bridge cameras in between Cannon SX 50, Sony HX300. They were a little over my budget. Then, I found thisFujifilm SL1000. Read some reviews online, compared the images and videos on Facebook, Youtube and finally settled to buy this. I got this at a bargain price of Rs. 16000 from the USA when it was listed in India at around Rs. 19000. nnI'm more than happy with the results. It works well in low-light which was my concern and throw plenty of day-light - the results will get even better. It's auto-focus is very fast. Going to learn advance tricks of photography on this camera soon. Plans for bird-watching and a visit to the zoo are on! :)

good

don't own it myself..but a frnd owns it and i'v used it..and i'v gotta to say, its as best as a point and shoot can get..some results are equivalent if not better than entry level dslrs..for consumers, interested in spending a little more on cameras, but not interested in dslrs, this is the best bet..
