Overall: I was impressed with the configuration they offered with a wornderful price. Really it worthed enough to have this laptop. HP proved an unique feature which I haven't experienced in my DELL laptop. The booting time and shutdown time taken by this lap...

Verdict
Go for the HP 1000-1204TU if you are looking for a laptop that comes at a decent price and is capable of meeting basic computing tasks at ease. The Windows 8 OS is a real surprise in this price range and makes business fun. It also flaunts HD webcam and fast optical drive. However, you will have to bear with the slow performance.

The HP 1000-1204TU offers decently sharp and bright viewing experience with a 14-inch HD LED backlit BrightView display featuring a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. It is wrapped in a 35.5 mm thick outfit which looks extremely chunky and has a weight of 2.2 kg. The black licorice colored outfit with a brushed finish looks quite appealing and stays away from fingerprints.

Under the hood, the HP 1000-1204TU is loaded with a 1.8GHz Intel Celeron Dual Core B830 processor operating on HM70 Express chipset.
