The HP 1000-1401AU Laptop features a 14.0-Inches display, with a screen resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. This HD Bright View LED Backlit Display showcases amazing colours and breath-taking clarity. This solidly built device weighs around 2.2 kg, and has the dimensions of 342 x 231 x 35.5 mm. It does feel a bit heavy for its size. Overall design is stylish and eye catching for 
this price range.

Processor and OS

The HP 1000-1401AU derives its power from 1.4 GHz AMD Dual Core processor and a DDR3 RAM of 2GB. Casual surfing and processes runs smoothly, but there is a visible lag while playing high quality games. For graphics HP has used AMD Radeon HD 7310 graphics, and it improves the graphics quality, noticeably. The laptop runs on Windows 8(64 bit) OS. Windows 8 is a very popular OS used everywhere and is very user-friendly.
