I chose the in a day delivery and they delivered in 12 hours! So first, THANK YOU Flipkart! Now then, i've been using this machine for last 15 days and man , it's one good product. I'll sum it up quick and fast. Pros - 1. The beats audio are simply amazing. 2. No noise. 3. The machine just doesn't heat up! cool! 4. Keyboard is pretty convenient. 5. All ports are great. (Don't go with that too tight comment.) 6. Played Crysis 3 at 1920x1080. No lag! No Excessive heat up! 7. Boot time = 3 seconds (FAST) 8. No problem of hanging! No lag! 9. I did get the HP backpack! 10. The Biometric finger print add-on is great for people who forget passwords. 11. Camera quality is good but not great! 12. Superfast charging! Charges in 1 hour. My damn Phone doesn't charge that fast! 13. Battery Backup is damn good! 6-7 hours on normal usage, 4-5 on heavy usage! 14. Display is great for people who work hours on it! Doesn't strain your eyes. 15. DVD writer works great and so does microphone. 16. Write speed is 20mb/sec even by USB 2.0 17. Super light and sturdy! 18. Supersexy Looks! and now the most important - IT DOES COME UNDER HP WARRANTY IF YOU BUY FROM WS RETAIL! The display is awesome.(for a high end user like me) Now the cons - 1. Display is Anti-glare so don't expect LED TV like quality. 2. Cyberlink Bloatware is simply annoying. 3. DVD rom looks a bit too delicate when pulled out.(Might be it is only in my piece.) 4. Audio port is just next to one of the USB ports, a big PD might make Audio port unusable for a while. In short, it's the best deal you can get in HP envy non touch series! Go for it without a thought!
I am very happy with my purchase . Superb Laptop @this budget . Go for it guys . I replace the HDD with 1tb SSD and added 8 gb ram extra and replace DVD drive with Panasonic blue ray writer UJ272 working superb now .
Features of this laptop are excellent..!! It is the best one at this price. I felt worth buying it.. But can someone please let me how yours laptop battery is working??
Hp envy is a bit different from other laptop especially the trackback using gestures unlike a normal track pad .gesture recognition on pad works like a charm...i've played call of duty advanced warfare at maxed out setting and ac black flag on ultra and it works flawlessly...the heating is bit of a concern for me when i do heavy gaming.but its aluminium base seems o dissipate most of the heat without creating much discomfort..the keyboard and beats audio is also really good...up-till now i'm quiet satisfied.. and the performance and benchmark test by all websites also proves its a powerful machine
1 no HP bag included (which is though free with every hp laptop) 2. laptop is making a strange kind of noise, like something is touching fan. 3. USB ports are too tight that it feels like its gonna break every time I put pendrive in it I am going to review completely after complete go through.
