These three words describe the laptop aptly. I have bought this product from a local dealer and so far, these are my observations: 1. If looks can kill, be prepared to die as this has got the looks of a Macbook (Leaving aside the black bezel) 2. Core i3 4010U (Ultra Low Voltage) processor with 1.7GHz may sound weak in these times but it can perform 7% more efficiently than a better clocked core i5 3rd Gen. Both in terms of peak performance as well as power savings. 3. 4GB RAM is adequate for me but for the puritans, you get to go with another 4 gigs if so required. 4. Battery backup is more than 4 hours, take my word for it. 5. 2 Gigs of AMD 8670M can effectively handle most of todays graphics intensive applications and games (though dont expect it to be a gaming rig). 6. The keyboard is quite comfortable and ergonomically designed, however if the backspace key was a tad larger, it would have been better for me. 7. The display consists of a 15.6 inch HD LED display which is quite good. 8. Windows 8.1 is far better than Windows 8, use it to believe it (i was quite critical about this new OS of Microsoft until now). 9. No heating problem whatsoever unless you are really abusing it with continuous gaming and all, thanks to HP CoolSense. 10. Sound could have been a bit louder, nevertheless the quality has a premium feel to it. 11. The other thing which could have been better is the trackpad which at times seem to be unresponsive and at times over responsive. Also, the click buttons are quite hard to press, wished those were softer. 12. I have not been able to configure the air gesture support which HP said has been equipped in the laptop. Overall, i would definitely say, HP has done it again to hold its place in the market.
I've purchased this laptop from dealer not from flipkart but couldn't resist myself from reviewing it. You cannot expect any better within this range. I mean 2GB radeon dedicated video memory will make you run any game till now. Recently i am playing Assassin's Creed: Black Flag and its running very smooth in almost full graphics settings. Even i have tested COD: Black Ops II it also ran in full config at 30 fps. Apart from gaming it also handles other operations very smoothly without hanging plus windows 8.1 pre loaded makes your job easy as you dont have to install any OS. It has got front web cam which is crystal clear i must say, also it records video in High Definition format. Core i3 4th generation processor is really very fast. Earlier i was in doubt whether 1.70 GHZ processor will work efficiently or not because i have been using 3 GHZ 3rd gen dual core processor earlier which was very fast. But Core i3 is much faster than what i thought. Battery back up is just great. Laptop can run easily for more than 4 hrs if any heavy tasks are not being performed. Rest all is fine, i mean 4 GB ddr3 ram and 500 GB HDD plus display is also very clear. Build quality is awesome, looks very elegant and fascinating no doubt. Overall you gain the trust of HP. If you are looking for a laptop here is a great deal just go for it.
first of all awesome service by flipkart .received it within 36 hours of placing the order. this is a perfect laptop at a very good price. comes loaded with windows 8.1 and 4th gen core i3 processor. best laptop under 40k range
Great laptop go for it.... I just bought it through Flipkart , service is very good they had given 5 % discount and also Rs 1500/- off .I bought the laptop last week .ie. on 18th April 2014 . 1. Looks are very good 2. Speakers are great loud enough for watching movies and playing games clarity is very good 3. Graphic card , ram , battery back up is good and this laptop is best in price range from 35k to 38k...its runs smoothly. I am not a routine gamer but i have tried 2-3 games with my kids and the same are running fine. Guys dont think if you are looking for laptop within this range dont think go for it.
I bought this Laptop for 33000 in a deal. Performance is Good. Awesome Design. Audio is also Good. Havent played any Big games yet. Touch pad is not Good enough.
