I am an HP fan and this laptop makes me like it more. Amazing battery life (nearly 6 hours), Display is neat, i5 Ivy Bridge, 2 GB ATI Radeon Graphics, 4 GB RAM, 500 GB HDD, one couldn't ask for more except for the speakers. Beats Audio speakers have let me down. My previous laptop (HP pavilion dv4 - some version) had Altec Lansing speakers and were much better than this. Anyway, apart from that this laptop is a gem. So slick and light weight, I feel like carrying it around all the time. Plus, I have installed Ubuntu 12.04 and it works so well. Must buy for Linux users.
One of my purchased this notepad 6 months back. Within 3 months he found a few white spots on the screen, he discussed with the customer care but none gave the right solution. Within few days the numbers of spots got increased and when tried to contact customer care they are took some snaps of the screen and now saying this is Customer Induced Damaged (CID) and it is a payable support i.e. around Rs. 13000/-. I strongly recommend not to buy HP Laptops. You pay heavy while purchasing though in warranty period, they don't support and easily say paid service.
A Good all round Ultrabook. Switchable graphics between the Radeon card and the Intel 4000 card is a nice touch. It is very light weight and well designed. There's nothing on this ultrabook NOT to like really. But if i had to pick something, i would have loved to see a higher resolution display! Also, apart from the surface being a fingerprint magnet and difficult to clean, i'm very happy with this ultrabook.
