The HP Envy 4-1201TX Ultrabook features a sharp 14-inch HD BrightView LED backlit display with a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels.
The aluminium casing flaunts a midnight black color which looks appealing as well as smart. The soft ruby red vertical brushing pattern on the lid makes it resistant to scratches, smudges and fingerprints. It has a thickness of 19.8 mm and a weight of 1.75 kg which allows you to tote around with it comfortably. However, the dimensions are not close to that of a true ultrabook.
Processor and OS
The notebook drives its processes with a 1.8GHz Intel Core i5 3rd generation processor based on HM77 Express chipset. It is assisted by a regular 4GB DDR3 RAM which can be increased up to 16GB via 2 unused DIMM slots. The presence of 2GB AMD Radeon HD 8670M graphics card allows the user have fun with highly intensive games and videos. It runs on 64 bit Windows 8 OS.
Camera, Storage and Multimedia
The HP Envy 4-1201TX Ultrabook flaunts a HP TrueVision HD webcam paired with a digital microphone for high resolution and noise free video calls. In addition to the 500GB SATA HDD, the machine has 32GB of SSD memory which allows you to achieve faster performance.
The combined action of subwoofer and dual Beats Audio powered Altec Lansing speakers are bound to make your mind go numb.
Battery and Connectivity
The HP Envy 4-1201TX Ultrabook houses a 4 cell Li-ion battery which boasts of up to 8 hours of backup. It can be connected using Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI out with HDCP, 2 USB 3.0 slots, 1 USB 2.0 port, Bluetooth v4.0, digital media reader, VGA port and WLAN.
