I am confused whom to praise? HP or WS Retail for giving such a qulity printer with all required features at very low price..........thats too with a free black cartridge. Thanks for both

Before writing this review i would like you to know that i never owned a printer till date and this is my first printer. I bought this printer on 17/12/15 on flipkart for rs 4104 and chose the one day delivery option for no cost. i recieved the printer as expected on 19/12/15. The printer came very well packed. After unboxing these are the contents in the box 1. the printer 2.one tricolour cartridge and one black and white cartridge[note the cartridges are not demo cartridges] they are full and claim to give 480 pages per cartridge] 3. one usb cable 4. one power chord [2pin] 5.instruction manual etc The instruction manual comes with very easy to understand instructions and you can set up the printer in not more than 10 mins after getting it. The reason i chose this printer was because of the cartridge costs they are exceptionally low. [550 rs per cartridge] this printer is only for home use so printing speed is not that good. scans very clear and fast. picture or text quality is also very good. overall the printer is one of the best and flipkart too did a great job.

Hi,nDear Fellow Online Shoppers,nNowadays with Internet services becoming very cheap,widely available and dependable, all my local cyber cafes have gone out of business. One over-smart guy taking advantage of the situation has opened a local shop near my house to offer print-out and xerox services to those who don't have printers at home ,but my intellect finds the market rate of Rs.1. for xerox and Rs.5. for B&W print-outs a cheating as firstly the real cost is much less & the guy uses the same machine to take out print-outs and xerox and just charges different rates for both.With my printing needs increasing I finally decided enough is enough and decided to buy my own device.nnThere was Free One Day Delivery on this product at my pincode,I got it the very next day and the packaging was quite proper & safe.On opening, I was relieved to find the printer intact and without a single scratch.nnI chose this printer because of the following reasons and it's Pros and cons are:-nPROS:-n1) It's an HP product.n2) It's one of HP's best seller models and very dependable and reliable.n3) It uses the HP 680 cartridge which is easily available online & offline and gives atleast 400 B&W prints per cartridge which makes printing cheap. (One must learn how to refill cartridges by watching Youtube videos and reading articles available on the internet, which would further reduce the cost tremendously). Refill kits are available online on Flipkart as well as Amazon.n4) It's an All-in-One Printer with Colour and B&W printing, Scanning and Copying.n5)Printing,copying and scanning speed are impressive and faster than more expensive printers.n5) Over all,Body and build quality is good and acceptable.Length & quality of both USB and Power Cord is good.n6) HP has a good network of Service centers and good customer care reputation.nnCONS:-n1) It's does NOT have wireless printing feature which is fashionable nowadays. However, I don't see myself doing any wireless printing and so didn't want to pay Rs.1500. More for wireless models.n2) It doesn't have Fax. However, Fax is an outdated and close to extinct feature nowadays.n3) It doesn't have ADF or Automatic Document Feeder for scanning, so if you want to scan in bulk you will have to do it manually one by one.n4) It doesn't have Automatic Duplex Printing feature, so if you want to print on both sides of a single sheet you have to turn manually and that is a bit difficult as re-feeding a single sheet into the printer is difficult.n nAfter purchase,I have quickly realised that having an AIO printer is highly useful as one can print all that one wishes and make soft copies of important documents without worrying about the cost.nnFinally,I purchased from Flipkart at a price of Rs.4099. & I got a Free HP 680 B&W cartridge worth Rs.500. under offer.nAlways do the educated act of comparing prices online & offline once you have chosen a product and don't forget to take into account the Transportation, Energy and Time cost Saved by Flipkart's Free delivery service with COD.nnThank you,nVikram Kumar Guha.

I bought this printer today ..design is beautiful ..colour combination is amazing... but when i started printing after 30 colour prints ( not even pictures..only text and some graphics) cartridge level was low... i was really surprised that this product stated " quality printing- up to 480 pages with HP's Low priced ink Cartridges " .... i mean what.!!! Guys i'll suggest you to go for some higher range with better performance printing... this might look cheaper but...it'll cost you alot when you'll start using it. I'll Request Flipkart to Replace or Refund so that i can go for a better Printer. Thank You.
