Boat CineHead E1 tech specs

Boat CineHead E1 is the most affordable smart projector from the company. It ships with Android 13-based smart UI and offers support for Netflix, Prime Video, and other streaming apps. There is a built-in apps store to sideload apps. The device is capable of projecting up to a 150-inch screen with a native 720p resolution and support for 1080p in playback. The projector should be ideal for small, light-controlled living rooms. The CineHead E1 supports 150 ANSI lumens – best suited for dark environments.

There is no auto focus support on this one, but it can be adjusted electronically with vertical keystone correction. The Boat CineHead E1 comes with a rotatable, adjustable stand. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, HDMI, Bluetooth v5.0, USB, and Aux. Audio is handled by a 3W built-in speaker, which is unlikely to get particularly loud while retaining clarity. Overall, the setup should work well in smaller spaces. However, for a more immersive viewing experience, pairing it with a dedicated external speaker would be a worthwhile upgrade.

Boat CineHead M1 tech specs

The Boat CineHead M1 is likely to deliver a superior sound with a total of 6W audio output, thanks to dual speakers. Furthermore, the projector is relatively brighter with 200 ANSI lumens and native full HD (1080p) brightness. The CineHead M1 runs Android 12-based UI. While it supports a variety of apps, the projector runs a slightly dated software version.

The device also supports auto focus and auto keystone correction, along with a rotatable, adjustable stand and carry handle for added convenience. Other features of the projector are the same as those of its younger sibling.

Boat CineHead M1 and E1 price, availability details

The Boat CineHead M1 is priced in India at Rs 10,999, while the CineHead E1 will set you back Rs 7,499. The projectors can be fetched via the e-commerce platform, Amazon.in, with a 1-year manufacturing warranty.

Boat Smart projectors competitors

There are several projectors available under Rs 10,000, including the Yuva Go Plus from Wzatco, a brand that has built a decent presence in the budget segment. On paper, it offers more capable hardware than boAt’s CineHead smart projector lineup.

However, Wzatco still lacks the wider brand recognition and after-sales network that boAt enjoys in India. This gives the CineHead series a practical edge, especially for buyers prioritising reliability and ease of access to support over raw specifications. For casual viewing, that trade-off could be worth considering.
