Now fans have a new reason to get excited. The company is set to launch its new family of OnePlus Nord devices. This includes the OnePlus Nord 3 5G, OnePlus Nord CE3 5G, and OnePlus Nord Buds 2r. OnePlus has given users a sneak peek at the design of the Nord 3 by unveiling its back panel ahead of the global launch. The company’s COO and President, Kinder Liu, shared images of the rear panel on Twitter and stated, “OnePlus Nord is all about giving our users pretty much everything they could ask for, and this starts with a great OnePlus design.”
The OnePlus Nord 3 5G will be available in two captivating colourways: Tempest Gray and Misty Green. The Tempest Gray variant features a textured matte finish, exuding strength and permanence, while the Misty Green option offers a glossy and visually pleasing look and hand-feel.
That’s not all, OnePlus has also removed the plastic screen frame found on more traditional phones. This results in a seamless flat display that offers greater immersion. This display is also pretty large at 17.12cm, which should make consuming video content a treat. Then add a refresh rate of 120Hz into the mix and you display that not only looks great but is a joy to use thanks to the smooth scrolling and transition animations. Of course, then we have the classic Alert Slider that lets users control their alerts and notifications.

One of the standout features of the OnePlus Nord 3 5G touted by the company is its photography capabilities. The device will employ a combination of cutting-edge hardware and OnePlus-developed algorithms to provide users with an exceptional photography experience.
At the heart of the OnePlus Nord 3 5G’s camera system lies the Sony IMX890 sensor. This is the same 50MP powerhouse that is also found in OnePlus’ flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 11 5G. This sensor is equipped with optical image stabilization technology, ensuring steady and blur-free shots in any situation. Additionally, the phone will incorporate OnePlus’ proprietary photography algorithms, which have garnered praise on the OnePlus 11, guaranteeing stunning photos under various conditions.
OnePlus’ COO and President, Kinder Liu, emphasized that despite being a mid-range device, the OnePlus Nord 3 5G will not compromise on photography quality. “We’ve taken the core of our flagship OnePlus 11’s camera technology and brought it to OnePlus Nord 3 5G to make sure our users get a great experience with every photo they take,” he tweeted.
