OnePlus forayed into the tablet segment with the OnePlus Pad and quickly followed it with the OnePlus Pad Go. Now, the brand appears to be working on a successor to its flagship which could be dubbed the OnePlus Pad 2. A new leak now reveals a few hardware details of the tablet.
OnePlus Pad 2 hardware
- According to the tipster Max Jambor, the OnePlus Pad 2 is tipped to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
- In comparison, the original OnePlus Pad comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset.
- This chipset currently powers premium flagships like the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, OnePlus 12, iQOO 12, and others.
- Besides the chipset, not much else is known about the tablet at the moment but considering the premium chipset, we’re hoping for an AMOLED display this time.
- OnePlus Pad 2 is also tipped to debut in the second half of this year.
