Google Pixel 11 Pro surfaces in CAD renders with minor design tweaks

Highlights
  • Pixel 11 Pro CAD renders show a similar design to the previous model, with a fully blacked-out camera bar.
  • The phone is expected to use the Tensor G6 chip, 6.3-inch LTPO display, and possibly retain 128GB base storage.
  • The Pixel 11 Pro launch is likely in August alongside the Pixel 11, following Google’s usual release timeline.

Google’s next Pro Pixel has surfaced in early CAD-based renders, adding to the recent leak of the standard Pixel 11 and giving us a better visual idea of the upcoming lineup. An exclusive by Android Headlines x OnLeaks shows the Pixel 11 Pro predictably staying very close to what Google introduced last year with the Pixel 10 Pro. The earlier Pixel 11 leak suggested the same design language for the base model, so the two phones are likely to feel similar in hand, with differences coming more from hardware than design.

Pixel 11 Pro design is familiar, but with a cleaner camera bar

The Google Pixel 11 Pro keeps the horizontal camera bar that has become the Pixel’s signature, but with a slight visual change. This time, the bar appears fully blacked out, instead of blending into the body colour around the flash. It’s a small tweak, but it makes the camera module stand out more clearly against the back panel. Do note that the colour in the renders is not a confirmed colour and added for effect.

Placed next to the Google Pixel 11, the shared design is easy to spot. Flat edges, similar proportions, and a centred punch-hole display carry across both models. The Pro does not try to separate itself visually, which means the distinction continues to come from the camera system and internal hardware. Bezels still look slightly thicker than what some competitors are pushing, and that is one area where Pixel devices continue to lag behind on paper.

Pixel 11 Pro specifications: what to expect

The Pixel 11 Pro is expected to run on Google’s next Tensor G6 chip, with a possible move to a MediaTek modem. That shift is worth watching, given the feedback around connectivity and efficiency on earlier Pixel devices. RAM is expected to stay at 16GB, though rising component costs could influence that decision. Storage is where the gap with competitors is more noticeable. Google has continued to offer 128GB as a starting point, while others have moved to 256GB. If that doesn’t change, it could affect how the device is compared at launch.

The display is expected to remain a 6.3-inch LTPO AMOLED panel. That size continues to keep the Pro model on the smaller side of the flagship segment, which still appeals to users who prefer a more compact device. The multimedia watchers are likely to find the Pixel 11 Pro XL more appealing if they want a larger screen.

With both the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro following the same design path, Google is keeping its lineup visually consistent. The Pixel 11 Pro’s compact size and AI strengths set it apart from larger rivals, though we’ve been seeing enough compact options in the form of the Samsung Galaxy S26 and Vivo X300. Apple’s upcoming iPhone will feature even slimmer bezels, while OnePlus’ flagship phones offer superior specs. The Pixel excels in computational photography and seven years of software support, though Tensor chips trail Snapdragon or Dimensity in benchmarks.

If you prefer a smaller phone with excellent cameras and long-term updates, the Pixel 11 Pro looks promising. The shared design with the Pixel 11 means the choice between the two will come down to camera requirements and pricing rather than looks.
