Intel® collaborates with local Indian brands to offer laptops tailored for the Indian laptop market

The Indian laptop market is an extremely dynamic market that features buyers from all walks of life. While most laptop brands have been international in the past, things are now changing with many local brands such as Wings, AXL, Walker and Zebronics joining the fray. These brands bring a local flavour to an industry that has primarily operated outside and are able to offer features that are better suited to Indian consumer demands. Traditionally, Indian consumers had to make do with what was available in the international Market, but these brands are now bringing products tailored to Indian consumer’s needs and offering value-for-money propositions. Not only that, but these brands are better suited to scale up and eventually offer laptops that are produced within the country. Buyers will be able to purchase laptops that are made in India and for India.

However, it’s not easy for a brand to simply create new laptops. This is where Intel® comes in. Intel® has worked closely with Wings, AXL, Walker and Zebronics to bring their laptops to Indian consumers. These laptops are built with India in mind and aim to help the Indian consumer market grow as a whole. The partnership should also expand on the government’s vision of helping the local tech industry advance forward. These devices currently cover the entry-level and mainstream segments, with Wings and Zebronics covering the latter. In the future, expect these brands to offer premium, as well as gaming laptops to consumers.

All of the laptops offer a number of premium features at previously unheard-of price points. From cutting-edge design elements such as thin and light metal alloy bodies to 180-degree hinges, these local brands are rewriting the narrative of what budget-friendly laptops can offer. Some laptops will also offer fingerprint sensors for better security. Connectivity-wise, these devices offer Dual Band Wi-Fi 6 and ThunderboltTM 4 ports. Audiophiles will be pleased to learn that Zebronics’ laptops will offer Dolby Atmos audio, while Wings will offer Maxx Signature Audio with quad speakers.
