The iQOO Z11 is launching in India this week as the brand’s latest mid-range smartphone. It’s the most powerful model in the lineup, following the iQOO Z11x and Z11 Lite. Ahead of the launch, iQOO has been revealing key details about the Z11, like its chipset, display, and battery capacity. With only a few days to go for the iQOO Z11 launch, here’s everything you need to know about the smartphone.
The iQOO Z11 is scheduled to launch in India on August 20th. The smartphone is confirmed to be sold on Amazon and possibly on more platforms like the iQOO India store and retail outlets.
The iQOO Z11 features a curved design with a 3D curved display. It has very thin bezels and a large screen. The design is different from most phones in the same segment, which offer a flat display. The curved screen should give an immersive experience while watching content.
The handset also has a horizontal camera bar housing two sensors and an LED ring light. It looks similar to the recently launched Vivo S2. This design might appeal to users who prefer a curved form factor and one that looks a bit different from other phones. The iQOO Z11 will be available in Aurora Green and Celestial Blue.
iQOO has confirmed quite a bit about the Z11. Up front, it gets a large 6.8-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 5,000 nits peak brightness, and a 93.82 percent screen-to-body ratio. The display will also include several eye-care features, including Eye Protection Mode, Sleep Comfort Mode, and Anti-Fatigue Brightness Adjustment. The large and curved screen makes it a good option for multimedia.
The handset will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo, making it the first phone in India to launch with this chipset. We can’t say about its performance yet and we can only find out once we review the device. The iQOO Z11 is also confirmed to pack a 7,050mAh battery, which should comfortably last an entire day and more with regular or moderate usage.
The smartphone will run OriginOS 6-based Android 16 out of the box. It’s confirmed to get AI features such as Circle to Search, AI Captions, AI Creation, and AI Routing.
iQOO has hinted on the pricing range for the Z11. Based on teasers shared by iQOO, the Z11 will be priced under Rs 40,000 in India. iQOO has mentioned in the teasers that the features revealed about the Z11 are based on phones under Rs 40,000 in India. This would put the iQOO Z11 up against rivals like the Motorola Edge 70 Pro.
If you’re in the market for a mid-range phone with a focus on multimedia and battery life, the Z11’s specs are compelling, but it’s wise to wait for full reviews to confirm real-world performance and camera quality, and how it compares with rivals in the same segment.
