Lava Bold N4 Lite launching in India next week, key design details officially revealed
After launching the Lava Bold N2 5G in India a couple of months back, the homegrown brand is set to bring another offering in the Bold N series: the Bold N4 Lite. Likely to be a 4G-only smartphone, the device’s teaser has gone live on Amazon, while revealing its launch date and design details.

Lava Bold N4 Lite confirmed launch date
Per the Amazon teaser, the Lava Bold N4 Lite will be unveiled in the country on August 27th at 12 PM. Lava’s Bold series has generally been associated with an affordable price tag, allowing it to target the mass market seeking a smartphone for basic use. The Bold N4 Lite could be positioned similarly, offering an essential set of specifications and features.
Lava Bold N4 Lite design details
While the teaser doesn’t reveal much, the phone appears to be covered by a cloth, with only the bottom and side portions visible, including the volume and power buttons, speaker grille, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and the Type-C port. Much like previous releases from Lava, the phone flaunts a light golden colour, while another colour shade could also be in tow.

The phone is confirmed to feature a MIL-STD-810H military-grade rating for drop and shock resistance. This should ensure the device doesn’t sustain significant damage when dropped or bumped against hard surfaces, provided the impact isn’t severe.
Along with subtly revealing the phone, the teaser promotes Lava’s free home service, allowing users to get issues with their phone fixed in the comfort of their home. That’s all that has been revealed for now.
Since Lava didn’t release the Lava Bold N3 Lite, the Bold N4 Lite appears to be a direct successor to the Bold N2 Lite, which was launched in April this year. For the uninitiated, the Bold N2 Lite featured a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 28mm-based Unisoc SC9863A chipset paired with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, a 13MP primary camera, and a 5,000mAh battery. The phone ran Android 15 Go at launch.
The Lava Bold N4 Lite could feature upgraded specifications and be priced accordingly. Besides that, given rising memory costs, we won’t be surprised if the Lava Bold N4 Lite launches at a significantly higher price than the Lava Bold N2 Lite to offset high component costs. That said, buyers interested in a durable, basic-use smartphone can wait until the official launch on August 27th for full specifications and pricing before deciding whether to get the Bold N4 Lite.
