Meta has launched a single subscription plan combining all its platforms under one plan. These include WhatsApp Plus, Instagram Plus, and Facebook Plus, which are available as individual plans offering users exclusive features. Meta One aims to offer features already available with these individual plans, along with more AI benefits. This move signals Meta’s aggressive push into subscription revenue, a significant shift from its ad-centric past. It’s also similar to other tech giants offering bundled plans like Google One and Apple One.
Meta One subscription plan starts at Rs 549 per month for Core, while the Premium plan costs Rs 1,960. There are plans for businesses and creators too. Starting with the Meta One Essential bundle plan, priced at Rs 639 per month, and the Advanced bundle plan at Rs 2,099 per month. More expensive plans include Expert, priced at Rs 6,399 per month, and Max at Rs 20,990 per month. Meta’s aggressive pricing strategy for businesses suggests a strong belief in the value of these advanced tools, but it remains to be seen if the market will respond positively.
With the Meta One Core plan, users get to restyle more Stories on Instagram, use voice effects and creative tools more, and generate more images and videos with Meta AI. As mentioned above, this plan already covers Instagram Plus, WhatsApp Plus, and Facebook Plus.
Meta One Premium gives you everything available with Core but with more room to create content with Meta AI.
Meta One Essential plan is designed to help build your brand with verification, impersonation protection, and customer support tools. Advanced offers professional features like scheduling, post links, analytics, team access, and more WhatsApp tools. Expert and Max Meta One plans are for businesses that need higher limits and more advanced tools to manage and scale their presence.
With the latest Meta One plans, users have more options to go for bundled subscriptions instead of the individual plans. This, however, depends on your usage and requirements. If you’re someone who relies only on one platform, it’s better to go for the individual plan. But for those who use all three platforms and might want to benefit more, the Meta Core or Premium plans make sense. As for businesses and creators who want their brand to grow more, they could opt for the bigger plans.
