Motorola Edge 70 Pro, Razr 70 Ultra colours and features surface in new leak
Motorola’s next wave of premium smartphones is expected to launch soon, targeting different segments. A fresh leak now reveals not just the colourways of the upcoming Razr 70 Ultra, but also new details about the Edge 70 Pro. This comes shortly after the standard Razr 70’s colour options were revealed. It appears that Motorola is nearing the launch of its flagship foldable lineup, which will include a new model to join its popular Edge 70 series.

Motorola appears to be doubling down on material finishes and Pantone collaborations, which is something signature about the brand. The Razr 70 Ultra is tipped to arrive in Pantone Orient Blue and Pantone Cocoa, both leaning heavily into tactile finishes. The blue variant reportedly features a faux leather back with a diamond stitch pattern, while the cocoa version goes for a wood-inspired texture with visible grain lines. Meanwhile, the Edge 70 Pro takes a slightly more experimental route. Leaks suggest Pantone Titan (blue) with a nylon-like texture and Pantone Zinfandel (maroon) with a brushed matte finish. A third wood-textured variant is also in the works, though its official name remains under wraps.
Motorola Edge 70 Pro: what we know so far
The Edge 70 Pro is said to house a 6,500mAh battery paired with 90W wired charging support. This would be a slight upgrade over its predecessor, the Edge 60 Pro’s 6,000mAh battery. While it is a decent capacity that should be enough for regular usage, there are quite a lot of phones now pushing 7,000mAh and even more. The Edge 70 Pro is also said to stick to a quad-curved display and refined rear design, similar to the Edge 70 Fusion. There’s also mention of “Super Zoom” capabilities, hinting at improved telephoto hardware or AI-assisted zoom processing.
A dedicated AI key on the left side is another notable addition. This aligns with a broader industry trend where OEMs are integrating quick-access AI features, much like recent implementations seen on flagship Android devices.

The Razr 70 Ultra reportedly retains a 7-inch inner display and a 4-inch cover screen like its predecessor, the Razr 60 Ultra. Dimension-wise, it’s said to be slightly thicker than its Razr 60 Ultra, which could indicate internal changes, possibly a larger battery or improved hinge durability. The dual-camera setup and AI key also carry forward, suggesting Motorola is focusing on refining the experience rather than reinventing it.
There’s no official word on the Motorola Razr 70 Ultra or Edge 70 Pro’s launch yet. But we expect both devices to debut soon. So, should you wait for either of them? Maybe, if you’re using a 2–to 3-year-old device, then the Edge 70 Pro might make sense in the mid-range segment. However, if you already own a recent phone, the improvements here might seem more incremental than groundbreaking.
