OnePlus hasn’t revealed anything about the Nord 6 yet, but the smartphone has been showing up on leaks and reports. The latest information talks about the OnePlus Nord 6 Naruto Limited Edition launching in India. This would be a special edition of the smartphone based on the popular manga and anime series, Naruto.

OnePlus Nord 6 Naruto Limited Edition launch tipped

According to a post by OnePlus Club, there’s a OnePlus Nord 6 Naruto Limited Edition in the works. The device name was spotted on the service page of the official OnePlus website. Here, the OnePlus Nord 6 Naruto Limited Edition is listed alongside the regular OnePlus Nord 6, confirming its availability. The post says that this smartphone is launching in India too, which should excite longtime Naruto fans.

OnePlus isn’t new to launching special editions of its smartphones. In the past, the company has launched the OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition, the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition, and the OnePlus Nord 2 × PAC-MAN Edition. This would be the second one in the Nord lineup, and one based on a manga and anime series that’s globally popular, even though it aired several years back. OnePlus might be trying to capture a younger audience, which has usually been the target crowd for the Nord series.

It remains to be seen how the design will look on the Nord 6. But OnePlus has a good track record with aesthetics, so we can expect a design that will stand out and look good at the same time. The OnePlus Nord 6 Naruto Limited Edition will most likely ship with a special box and possibly some accessories as well. The smartphone might also come with related themes and exclusive UI.

As for the OnePlus Nord 6 India launch, it’s expected to take place in early April. Staying true to its nature, the Nord 6 is rumoured to offer peak performance and endurance. The smartphone could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, a powerful mid-range chipset expected to offer flagship-like performance. The smartphone’s highlight might be its massive 9,000mAh battery, the largest on a OnePlus phone yet. This battery capacity is expected to deliver two days of usage without having to worry about charging the phone.

The handset is also tipped to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, like the flagship OnePlus 15 lineup. The Nord 6’s dual-camera setup could include a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. For selfies, it could house a 16MP front camera. This suggests OnePlus’ focus is on performance and endurance rather than a versatile camera setup.

With the Nord 6’s arrival, competition in the premium mid-range segment is expected to intensify, with performance and battery life remaining key focus areas. The leaked specifications suggest OnePlus is aiming to offer a well-rounded hardware package.

Based on the details we have so far, the OnePlus Nord 6 would be better suited for people who want a performance-focused device with a large battery. It may not be the best option for photography enthusiasts or people who want to experiment with the cameras. We should still wait for the official launch and see how the Nord 6 compares with rivals before making a buying decision.
