OPPO Enco Air 5 Pro debuts with 55dB ANC and up to 54 hours total battery life

Highlights
  • OPPO Enco Air 5 Pro is said to last for up to seven hours with ANC turned on.
  • The Enco Air 5 Pro comes with Bluetooth 6.0 and touch controls.
  • OPPO has yet to announce the India launch of the Enco Air 5 Pro.

OPPO has steadily expanded its Enco audio portfolio over the years, offering everything from affordable everyday earbuds to feature-rich mid-range options with active noise cancellation. Building on that momentum, the company has now introduced the OPPO Enco Air 5 Pro in China, positioning it as a premium offering with stronger audio performance, smarter ANC, and improved connectivity.

The new earbuds succeed the OPPO Enco Air 4 Pro, which debuted in 2024, with upgraded specifications. Priced at CNY 329 (roughly Rs 4,300), the OPPO Enco Air 5 Pro comes in Moonstone White and Midnight Black colour options. It is currently available for pre-order in China and will go on sale starting March 2nd. There’s no word on an India launch yet, but OPPO brings its Enco products here, so we might just see it soon.

The OPPO Enco Air 5 Pro is equipped with a 12mm dynamic driver, paired with support for AAC, SBC, and LHDC 5.0 Hi-Res audio codecs. It offers a wireless transmission rate of up to 1Mbps and a frequency response range of 20Hz to 40KHz, which should ensure more detailed playback when paired with compatible devices.

Active noise cancellation is rated at up to 55dB, placing it among the strongest ANC offerings in the mid-range TWS category. Users can switch between ANC On, Adaptive mode, Transparency mode, and ANC Off depending on their environment. It also offers a triple-microphone setup for call noise cancellation, aiming to deliver clearer voice quality in crowded or outdoor settings.

The earbuds feature Bluetooth 6.0 with dual-device connectivity for seamless switching between two connected devices. A 47ms low-latency mode is also included to reduce lag during gaming and video streaming. The earbuds feature touch controls with slide gestures for volume adjustment.

Each earbud houses a 62mAh battery, while the charging case packs a 530mAh cell. OPPO claims up to seven hours of playback on a single charge with ANC enabled and up to 13 hours with ANC turned off. With the case, total battery life extends up to 29 hours with ANC on and up to 54 hours with ANC off.

Compared to its predecessor, the OPPO Enco Air 5 Pro offers stronger ANC, updated Bluetooth connectivity, and improved codec support. Hence, it’s a compelling option for those seeking powerful ANC and reliable battery life without moving into premium territory.

If OPPO does end up bringing the Enco Air 5 Pro to India, it could launch in the sub-Rs 6,000 bracket. This would make the Enco Air 5 Pro a good option over more premium options by still offering a complete package with good audio, ANC, and features for not just casual listening but gaming as well. Since there’s no confirmation on the Enco Air 5 Pro launch outside China, interested buyers may want to wait or consider alternatives.
