OPPO Find X9s Pro leak hints at compact flagship with dual 200MP cameras, 7,000mAh+ battery

Highlights
  • OPPO Find X9s Pro is expected to launch alongside the Find X9s.
  • It could be the brand’s compact flagship smartphone.
  • The smartphone is tipped to feature a battery larger than 7,000mAh.

OPPO is preparing to expand its upcoming Find X9 series with additional models, and one of them could be the compact Find X9s Pro. It has already confirmed the OPPO Find X9s to launch globally and in India with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset. While the company has yet to confirm the Find X9s Pro, a new leak from tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed several key specifications, suggesting that the phone could combine flagship hardware with a relatively compact design.

According to the leak, the OPPO Find X9s Pro may feature a 6.32-inch flat display supplied by Tianma. The panel is said to offer a 1.5K resolution and use LTPS technology, which is mostly used on mid-range phones as opposed to LTPO that supports variable refresh rates. LTPS is also more cost-friendly, which could help OPPO price the Find X9s Pro more competitively. The screen is also expected to use LIPO packaging, a technique that helps reduce bezel thickness and gives the display a more edge-to-edge appearance.

Powering the device could be the MediaTek Dimensity 9500, the same chip used on the flagship Find X9 series. This means that we can expect flagship performance from the compact Find X9s Pro. The camera system is another area where the Find X9s Pro may stand out. The leak suggests that the device could feature two separate 200MP sensors. The primary camera is tipped to use Samsung’s HP5 sensor with a 1/1.56-inch size. A second 200MP HP5 sensor is expected to power a 3x periscope telephoto camera, which could deliver high-resolution zoom shots.

In addition to these two sensors, the device is rumored to include a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The leak also mentions a 3.2MP “Danxia” colour restoration lens, which is said to improve colour accuracy in photos, potentially helping the phone produce more natural-looking images.

Battery capacity could be another major highlight. The Find X9s Pro is tipped to pack a battery larger than 7,000mAh, which would be significantly larger than what most flagship phones currently offer. This is also impressive considering it’s a compact smartphone. Charging support is said to include 80W wired charging along with wireless charging capabilities.

On the durability front, the device may come with both IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. Security features could include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, which is generally considered faster and more reliable than traditional optical fingerprint sensors.

Interestingly, the leak also hints at an orange magnetic case accessory and suggests that the device may carry a design language with a noticeable “Apple feel”. While the exact meaning of this comparison is unclear, it could point to a more minimalist design or refined build quality.

If the reported specifications prove accurate, the Find X9s Pro could be positioned as a compact flagship option in OPPO’s lineup. OPPO is also clearly making no compromises with the Find X9s Pro, offering a flagship chipset, a large battery, and promising cameras. This might make the OPPO Find X9s Pro the compact flagship to beat in 2026.

While it’s not confirmed yet, if the Find X9s Pro does launch, then it would make for a highly recommendable compact flagship to go for. Those specifically holding out for a compact flagship may want to wait for the Find X9s Pro. But since all we have is a leak for now, these early details should be treated with caution.
