The two new models will join the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, which debuted in the country around six months ago. Positioned as the company’s most ambitious smartphone yet, the OPPO Find X9 Ultra is expected to pack top-tier hardware and premium features across the board. The Find X9s, on the other hand, is likely to serve as a more accessible sub-flagship option, offering hardware that closely mirrors the standard Find X9.

OPPO Find X9s and Find X9 Ultra price in India
Mum is the word on the OPPO Find X9s and Find X9 Ultra price in India officially. However, the Find X9s could be priced in India at Rs 79,999 for the base 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, while 12GB + 512GB option could cost Rs 89,999. This is on par with the Vivo’s recently-launched X300 FE, which is also a sub-flagship offering from the brand and a camera-focused offering.

The OPPO Find X9 Ultra, on the other hand, will reportedly come with a wallet-breaking price of Rs 1,79,999. The handset will only be available in one RAM and storage configuration. This makes it the most expensive slab-based ultra-premium smartphone, surpassing its closest rival Vivo X300 Ultra, which costs Rs 1,59,999.
The OEM has already listed the specifications of both smartphones on its official website, so we know what to expect.
OPPO Find X9s specifications
The OPPO Find X9s shares most of its traits with the Find X9 smartphone, which is selling in India at Rs 75,999. The list includes the flat edges and squarish camera module design, 6.59-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Hasselblad 50MP triple rear cameras, 32MP selfie camera, 7,025mAh battery, ColorOS 16, and more. However, the handset rocks a sub-flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9500s SoC and misses out on the wireless charging feature. The Find X9s also misses out on 16GB RAM + 512GB storage configurations.

Specs at a glance
- 6.59-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate
- MediaTek Dimensity 9500s SoC
- 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB/ 512GB UFS 4.1 storage
- 50MP + 50MP + 50MP triple rear cameras
- 32MP selfie camera
- 7,025mAh battery, 80W SuperVOOC
- ColorOS 16
Compared to its closest rival, X300 FE, the OPPO Find X9s has a clear edge in terms of battery and better ultrawide camera hardware. That said, the handset isn’t as compact as the Vivo X300 FE, which also boasts wireless charging functionality and faster wired charging tech. If one-handed usage and charging convenience aren’t your priorities, the OPPO Find X9s seems to be a better buy on paper. The handset comes in three colour choices: Midnight Grey, Sunset Orange, and Lavender Sky.
OPPO Find X9 Ultra specifications
The OPPO Find X9 Ultra will be superior to all the smartphones in the Find X9 series. The handset will feature a larger 6.82-inch display with QHD+ resolution and will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. The 7,050mAh battery, however, may feel slightly underwhelming compared to the Find X9 Pro, which houses a larger 7,500mAh cell despite featuring a smaller 6.78-inch FHD+ display.

Specs at a glance
- 6.82-inch QHD+ LTPO AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate
- Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC
- 12GB/ 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB/ 512GB UFS 4.1 storage
- 200MP + 50MP + 200MP + 50MP + 3.2MP penta camera setup
- 50MP front camera
- 7,050mAh battery, 100W SuperVOOC + 50W AirVOOC charging
- ColorOS 16
Needless to say, the smartphone’s biggest USP is its camera system. The rear camera setup, which includes a dedicated 10x telephoto lens, gives it an edge over rival smartphones, including the Vivo X300 Ultra.
The latter also offers a promising camera setup, but is limited to 3.7x optical zoom unless you invest in the separately sold telephoto extender kit. The Vivo smartphone also features a QHD+ display and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, but as an overall package, the OPPO Find X9 Ultra appears more capable.
The handsets seem to be promising options for buyers prioritising cameras, seamless performance, and extended battery life at their respective prices. We will be analysing the OPPO Find X9s and Find X9 Ultra’s worth in their respective reviews, so keep watching this space.
