The OPPO Reno15 series has officially launched in India, marking the brand’s first smartphone lineup of 2026. This time around, OPPO has expanded the range with a new addition, the OPPO Reno15 Pro Mini, joining the usual base and Pro models. The Pro Mini is designed for users seeking a compact, mid-range smartphone without compromising pro-level specifications. The handset features a relatively small 6.32-inch display but shares the same chipset and cameras as the OPPO Reno 15 Pro.

OPPO Reno 15 Pro Mini touts a compact design and flagship specs

The OPPO Reno 15 Pro Mini’s USP is its compact design. It measures 151.21 x 72.42 x 7.99mm and weighs 187 grams, making it highly pocketable and easy to use. This also means a smaller 6.32-inch LTPS AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,800 nits of HBM brightness. The display features Corning Gorilla Glass 7i for scratch and minor drop-and-fall protection.

As for the design, the OPPO Reno 15 Pro Mini has IP66, IP68, and IP69 water- and dust-resistance ratings to enhance durability. For looks, it debuts with the industry’s first HoloFusion technology that renders 3D visual effects of the pattern on the background. It is exclusive to the phone’s Glacier White colour option. The other colour option, Cocoa Brown, is clean and simple with no pattern at the back.

That said, both colour options have an identical Dynamic Stellar design, which is said to produce a soft halo-like glow when light hits the surface around the square camera module. The handset features an Aerospace-grade aluminium frame, known for its durability and lightweight.

When it comes to photography, the OPPO Reno 15 Pro Mini sports a massive 200MP OIS main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP 3.5x telephoto lens in the triple rear cameras. The front camera is a 50MP shooter for selfies and video calling. At the core of the smartphone lies a mid-range MediaTek Dimensity 8450 SoC paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB/ 512GB storage. While it is a promising camera setup, the handset may lag behind the other compact competitors, such as the OnePlus 13s and the Vivo X200 FE, in performance.

To keep things running, the OPPO Reno 15 Pro Mini houses a 6,200mAh battery with 80W SuperVooc fast charging support. The battery size is bigger than that of the OnePlus 13s, but lags behind the Vivo X200 FE, which packs a 6,500mAh battery.

OPPO Reno15 Pro brings a 200MP camera and a large battery

The Reno15 Pro debuts with the same MediaTek chipset and 200MP triple rear camera setup as the Reno15 Pro Mini. However, it ups the ante with a larger 6,500mAh battery and adds 50W AirVOOC wireless charging, alongside 80W SuperVOOC wired fast charging. The handset also features a taller 6.78-inch LTPS AMOLED display, capable of dynamically adjusting its 120Hz refresh rate all the way down to 1Hz. Rounding things off is slightly more robust Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.

Other specifications, including water and dust resistance ratings, remain the same as the Pro Mini. The Reno 15 Pro Mini measures 161.2 x 76.4 x 7.6mm and weighs 205 grams, making it relatively heavier.

OPPO Reno15 gets HaloFusion design and 120Hz AMOLED Display

The base OPPO Reno 15 adopts the same HaloFusion design language as the Pro models but features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, and up to 1,200 nits of HBM brightness. Powering the handset is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of internal storage.

On the imaging front, the camera hardware remains unchanged from the Reno14. The triple rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP 3.5x telephoto camera, while selfies are handled by a 50MP front-facing sensor housed in a punch-hole cutout.

The smartphone packs a 6,500mAh battery, matching the Pro model. The handset weighs 197 grams and measures 158 x 7.8 x 7.7 mm.  Other features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth v5.4.

Software-wise, all three Reno 15 phones ship with Android 16-based ColorOS 16 out of the box, which brings all the features we saw on the flagship Find X9 series, including AI Mind Space, AI Portrait Glow, AI Call Summary, and more. For security, the handset sports an optical under-screen fingerprint scanner.

The sale of the smartphones starts January 13th across India via Flipkart, Amazon.in, OPPO’s official website and offline stores. As part of the launch offers, OPPO is offering the Reno15 series with 180 days screen damage replacement, 50 percent off on Enco Buds 3 Pro+, and 10 percent instant cashback for select bank cards or 15 percent zero down payment.

These are the most expensive Reno-series smartphones OPPO has launched so far, and they remain faithful to the philosophy that has long defined the lineup. Design and cameras take centre stage here, with a clear emphasis on style, ergonomics, and imaging consistency rather than outright performance.

The Reno15 series may not appeal to performance enthusiasts or heavy gamers, but if you like carrying your smartphone as a fashion accessory and never miss a chance to take it out and capture moments, the Reno15 series is well worth considering.
