OPPO is getting ready to bring the Reno15 series to India, and this time the lineup includes a new model. The company has confirmed that the standard Reno15 and Reno15 Pro will be joined by a smaller OPPO Reno15 Pro Mini this time. OPPO has been teasing the series over the past few weeks with a focus on cameras and usability.
Now, a new leak has given us insight into how the compact model might be priced. Tipster Abhishek Yadav claims the Reno15 Pro Mini carries a box price of Rs 64,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant. In India, box prices are more than the actual selling price, so the phone could realistically launch closer to Rs 59,999, claims the tipster. With the usual bank offers, the effective price could come down slightly more.

If the leaked pricing is true, it would be a noticeable step up for the Reno series. Last year, the priciest model in the lineup, the OPPO Reno14 Pro, started at Rs 49,999 for the same 12GB + 256GB variant. A jump of around Rs 10,000 sounds sharp, but it aligns with what’s happening across the market. Memory and storage components have become more expensive, and many brands have raised prices across all price bands.
OPPO has confirmed the Reno15 Pro Mini comes with a 6.32-inch AMOLED display, weighs around 187 gms and is 7.99 mm thick, which is pretty much standard for compact phones these days. In terms of durability, the Reno15 Pro Mini comes with IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings, which we’ve started seeing in mid-range phones now. There’s also a platinum coating around the USB-C port, though how much difference that makes in day-to-day use will only become clear once we use the phone.

Under the hood, the phone is expected to run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 8450 chip, paired with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. The camera setup looks ambitious, with a 200MP main, 50MP ultra-wide and another 50MP telephoto shooter, along with a 50MP selfie camera. It is also tipped to pack a 6,200mAh battery, which is decently large for a phone of this size, but short of Vivo’s other compact offering, the Vivo X200 FE, which has a 6,500mAh cell. The Reno15 Pro Mini is tipped to support 80W fast charging.
At around Rs 60,000, the Reno15 Pro Mini will be stepping into a competitive space. The OnePlus 13s has already made a mark as a compact phone with strong performance and clean software. Vivo’s X200 FE sits in the same bracket and leans more on camera tuning and display quality. The not-so-compact Samsung’s Galaxy S25 FE attracts buyers who value long software support and ecosystem features. Even the iPhone 16e is available around the same price.
If OPPO manages to price the Reno15 Pro Mini under Rs 60,000 and undercut rivals with good offers, it could be a good option for people tired of oversized phones but wanting good battery life and flexible cameras.
