OPPO Reno 15c and Pad 5 launched in India alongside the Reno 15 series
OPPO has expanded its Reno 15 lineup in India with the launch of the Reno 15c, while also introducing a new tablet, the OPPO Pad 5. Together, the two products highlight the brand’s renewed focus on blending premium design cues with large batteries and productivity-centric features in the competitive mid-range segment.
The Reno 15c may share the visual language of the rest of the Reno 15 series, but it is a distinct model from the Chinese Reno 15c. For India, OPPO has equipped the phone with a 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and peaks at up to 1,400 nits brightness. Powering the handset is the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, paired with up to 12GB RAM and running Android 16 with ColorOS 16 out of the box. A key design highlight is the Dynamic Stellar Ring look on the rear, and the phone is rated IP66, IP68, and IP69, making it highly durable against dust and water.

On the camera front, the Reno 15c carries a 50MP main sensor with an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro camera, while the front houses a 50MP shooter capable of 4K video recording. The phone also stands out with its massive 7,000mAh battery and 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, a combination that is becoming increasingly common in Chinese mid-range phones.
In India, the Reno 15c is available in Afterglow Pink and Twilight Blue. The 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs 34,999, while the 12GB + 256GB model costs Rs 37,999. It will go on sale in February via Amazon, Flipkart, OPPO’s online store, and offline retail channels.
Alongside the smartphone, OPPO has also launched the Pad 5 tablet in India. While the name might suggest continuity with the Chinese OPPO Pad 5, this tablet is actually a rebranded version of the Oppo Pad Air 5, also sold globally as the OnePlus Pad Go 2. The tablet comes in Wi-Fi-only and 5G variants and focuses heavily on display quality and productivity features.
The OPPO Pad 5 features a large 12.1-inch 2.8K LCD display with a 7:5 aspect ratio, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, up to 900 nits brightness, and Dolby Vision support. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, paired with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Both the front and rear cameras are 8MP units, and the tablet supports USB OTG for accessories and storage devices.
The tablet comes with the OPPO Pencil 2, which offers low-latency input, handwriting polish features, and AI-powered note-taking tools. OPPO claims the stylus can run for up to 20 hours, with a quick 10-minute charge delivering up to 12 hours of usage. The tablet is backed by a large 10,050mAh battery with 33W fast charging, and OPPO says it can deliver up to 53 hours of music playback or 15 hours of online video streaming.
Audio is handled by a quad-speaker setup, while ColorOS 16 for Pad brings features such as a Flux Home Screen, Quick App Launch & Switch, and support for keeping up to 12 apps active at the same time. The tablet comes in Wi-Fi and 5G variants.
The OPPO Pad 5 is priced at Rs 26,999 for the 8GB + 128GB Wi-Fi model and Rs 32,999 for the 8GB + 256GB 5G version. OPPO is offering a launch discount of Rs 2,000 or up to nine months of no-cost EMI, with pre-orders already live and open sales beginning on January 13, 2026.
The OPPO Reno 15c makes sense for users who want strong battery life, a durable build, and a high-resolution front camera for content creation. However, performance-focused users may want to compare it with alternatives offering more powerful chipsets in the same price range. The OPPO Pad 5, on the other hand, is a compelling option for a mid-range tablet for entertainment, studying, or casual use.
