Realme is set to expand its audio lineup in India with the launch of the Realme Buds T500 Pro on April 16th. Ahead of the announcement, the company has confirmed the design, colour options, and key specifications, giving an idea of how the earbuds will be positioned in the mid-range TWS segment.
The Buds T500 Pro will be available in three colours — Lemon Cola, Orange Mint, and Chocolate — with a compact charging case in a more playful, rounded design. This is a noticeable shift from the more neutral finishes typically seen in this category, where most options still stick to black or white.

Realme Buds T500 Pro focus on sound quality, noise cancellation, and battery
The earbuds use 12.4mm drivers, which are responsible for producing sound. Larger drivers generally allow for better low-end response and fuller audio output, though tuning ultimately determines how they sound in practice. Realme is also offering Hi-Res Audio support with the LHDC 5.0 codec. This enables higher-bitrate audio transmission over Bluetooth, but its benefit depends on whether the connected device also supports the same codec.
Active noise cancellation (ANC) is rated at up to 50dB. In practical terms, this indicates how much ambient noise the earbuds can reduce. It’s most noticeable in consistent background environments such as traffic, air conditioners, or public transport. Realme is also including a six-microphone system with AI-based noise reduction to improve voice clarity during calls.
Battery life is one of the stronger claims here. The company says the Buds T500 Pro can deliver up to 56 hours of total playback with the charging case. This includes multiple recharges, and actual usage will vary based on volume levels and ANC usage, but the figure places it at the higher end of the segment. The earbuds also support Bluetooth 6.1 and a 45ms low-latency mode. Lower latency reduces the delay between audio and video, which is relevant for gaming and streaming. There are additional features like real-time translation, which are starting to appear more often, but for most users, they remain secondary to everyday performance.
For context, the Realme Buds T200 launched at Rs 1,999 in July 2025. It offered 32dB ANC, 12.4mm drivers, and up to 50 hours of battery, essentially covering the basics well at a budget price. The Buds T500 Pro builds on that with higher 50dB ANC, longer 56-hour battery life, a newer LHDC 5.0 codec, and upgraded connectivity. That kind of jump usually comes with a clear price separation. Realistically, the T500 Pro is unlikely to stay in the Rs 2,000 range.
