Realme seems to be on a roll with its P4 series. It already has five phones in the lineup, including the Realme P4, Realme P4 Pro, Realme P4x, Realme P4 Power, and the Realme P4 Lite 4G. The company has now announced the launch of the Realme P4 Lite 5G in India. As the name suggests, it’s the 5G variant of the Realme P4 Lite smartphone. It’s also confirmed to house a 7,000mAh battery, slightly larger than the 4G variant. With the P4 Lite 5G, Realme would cover all key price points in the budget and mid-range segment.
Realme P4 Lite 5G is confirmed to launch in India on March 19th. The smartphone will be Flipkart exclusive, with a dedicated microsite already live. Realme hasn’t revealed much about the phone other than its battery and the phone’s design. The smartphone looks quite different from its 4G variant. It has a vertically-stacked camera module as opposed to the square-shaped design on the Realme P4 Lite 4G. The smartphone also has a dual-tone design, which looks quite appealing.

Since the battery capacity of the Realme P4 Lite 5G is different from the 4G model, this could be the major differentiator between the two phones. We can still expect more upgrades. Realme has yet to reveal more details about its upcoming phone. For now, here’s a recap of the Realme P4 Lite 4G so we have an idea of what to expect from the 5G variant.
The Realme P4 Lite 4G features a 6.74-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It’s powered by the Unisoc T7250 SoC, a chipset you usually find in entry-level phones. The phone still offers ‘GT Mode’, a performance enhancement feature for gaming. It also packs a 6,300mAh battery paired with 15W fast charging and 6W reverse charging support. The Realme P4 Lite 4G has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera. On the software front, the smartphone runs Android 15-based Realme UI out of the box.
Realme has launched the P4 Lite 4G at a starting price of Rs 9,999, making it a budget-friendly option. The Realme P4 Lite 5G is expected to cost more, putting it in a slightly higher price category. For now, the smartphone’s highlight appears to be its 7,000mAh battery. Since we don’t have many details, we’ll have to wait for more teasers from Realme about the P4 Lite 5G. Still, those who are planning to buy a new budget phone can wait and keep an eye on the Realme P4 Lite 5G, especially for its battery.
