The Redmi Note 15 has received a price hike in India, with its current online listing showing the 8GB + 128GB variant at Rs 28,999, up from Rs 26,999 previously. The 8GB + 256GB variant has also moved from Rs 29,999 to Rs 31,999.

There was also a recent tweet by tipset Sanju Chaudhary, claiming a Rs 3,000 hike for the Redmi Note 15. However, unlike the previous price revision reported through retailer communication, the latest post is a simple text update without any concrete proof to back up the figure. The current online listings, therefore, suggest an Rs 2,000 increase for both variants.
The Redmi Note 15 originally launched in India at Rs 22,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, which means the same configuration is now Rs 6,000 more expensive than it was at launch. The 8GB + 256GB variant has similarly gone from Rs 24,999 at launch to Rs 31,999 now.
Recurring price revisions for older smartphone models have become increasingly common across the industry as brands deal with rising memory component costs. Rather than increasing prices only on new launches, brands appear to be revising the prices of existing models as well, particularly in the affordable and mid-range segments where higher memory costs have a greater impact on margins.
