Samsung Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 design shown off via alleged official renders; launch seems imminent
While all eyes are on the Samsung Galaxy S26 series launch, the mid-range Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 have entered the rumour mill. Alleged renders of the smartphones have surfaced online, courtesy of Android Headlines. While it is coming from the same source that previously reported, OnePlus might get dismantled – a claim that was later refuted by the brand, the leaked Galaxy A57 design appears to align with listings spotted on China’s TENAA certification database, lending some credibility to the leak.

Unchanged design
The upcoming smartphones are expected to retain a design largely identical to their predecessors, the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36, which debuted last year. According to leaked renders, both the Samsung Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 will feature a centred punch-hole display and a vertically aligned triple rear camera system positioned in the top-left corner. The camera setup is finished in black and outlined by a border that matches the phone’s overall colour profile.
The Galaxy A37 appears in a lavender colourway, while the Galaxy A57 has so far been leaked only in black and lavender.

The camera module appears to protrude slightly from the rear panel, which could cause the phone to wobble when placed flat on a surface. The right edge has that familiar Key Island, which is the raised surface to house the volume rocker and power button, something we’ve also seen on previous-generation Galaxy A-series models. The flat edges further reinforce this familiar design language, complemented by a flat display that maintains Samsung’s consistent mid-range aesthetic.
However, the Galaxy A37 seemingly feature slightly thicker bezels and a bigger chin than the Galaxy A57. The TENNA listing further confirms that the A57 will measure 6.9mm in thickness and weigh 182 grams, making it thicker and lighter than its predecessor – Galaxy A56. Furthermore, the smartphone is likely to sport a 6.6-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.
Upgrade in performance
While the design may remain unchanged, the smartphones could receive a notable performance boost thanks to a faster chipset, allowing them to compete more effectively with rival offerings in the segment.
At the Samsung Galaxy A57’s core may lie an octa-core chipset with clock speeds of up to 2.9GHz, likely the upcoming Exynos 1680, aided by 8GB and 12GB RAM variants with up to 256GB inbuilt storage. In optics, the smartphone is expected to feature a 50MP primary camera paired with 12MP and 5MP sensors. The front camera could be a 12MP sensor for selfies and video calling.
The smartphone is rated to house a 4,905mAh battery, which should translate to a typical 5,000mAh capacity with support for 45W wired fast charging.
Details surrounding the Samsung Galaxy A37 remain scarce for now. However, reports suggest the handset could be powered by the Exynos 1480 SoC and may be offered in configurations of up to 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Both the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 are expected to run Android 16 with One UI 6.0 straight out of the box.
The Samsung Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 launch dates have not been confirmed yet. But it is only a matter of time before the handsets are official. The Galaxy A57 has already cleared BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification, indicating that it is entering India soon. Considering that all their predecessors have been launched from the same stage, Samsung may follow a similar suit with these upcoming A-series models.
Even with an upgraded chipset, these mid-range smartphones are unlikely to cater to power users. That said, the Samsung Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 are expected to focus on balanced specifications and Samsung’s proven long-term software support. If longevity and reliable day-to-day performance are your priorities, both the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 could be worth waiting for.
