Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 confirmed to launch at Unpacked as Amazon listing spotted online
Samsung has all but confirmed that new Galaxy Buds will debut alongside the Galaxy S26 at Galaxy Unpacked on February 25th, and one of the first hints come via tipster Paras Guglani (PassionateGeekz on X). He spotted a Galaxy Buds 4 listing on Amazon ahead of launch, suggesting the earbuds are already entering retail channels.
The more formal confirmation comes from Samsung itself. The Samsung Canada landing page for Unpacked (via) includes an FAQ that explicitly mentions “new Galaxy Buds” launching alongside new Galaxy phones. The answer refers to “two key events for Samsung’s new Galaxy smartphones and Galaxy Buds,” marking the first time Samsung has publicly acknowledged the earbuds ahead of the event.

There have been sporadic appearances here and there too, revealing more details about the design. Spanish retailer Alkosto reportedly listed the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro early with product images and descriptions. Dummy units shared by TechTalkTV offer a closer look at the upcoming models, and tipster Tarun Vats posted an official-looking animation that appears to confirm tweaks to touch controls and overall form. All these sightings reveal plenty of details about what to expect from the new Samsung earbuds.
The Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro are expected to shift to a flat stem profile, replacing the pill-shaped stems used in the previous generation. The charging case has also been reworked to lie flat and now features a transparent lid, making it easier to see whether the earbuds are inside. The touch-sensitive area appears to have been repositioned, pointing to ergonomic refinements aimed at improving usability rather than cosmetic changes.
Based on the design leaks, some rumoured features may not make the cut. Images show no speaker grille on the case, suggesting Samsung may have dropped the idea of a built-in speaker for locating lost earbuds. The Blade Lights introduced on the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro also appear to be absent this time.
Pricing remains unconfirmed, but leaks from Korea suggest around USD 150 (around Rs 13,600) for the Galaxy Buds 4 and USD 220 (around Rs 20,000) for the Buds 4 Pro. That would place them against Apple’s AirPods and AirPods Pro (3rd generation), as well as premium options from Sony, Bose and JBL.
