Samsung has officially expanded its Galaxy Forever ownership programme in India to cover its latest flagship foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. Much like the scheme introduced for the Galaxy S series, Galaxy Forever allows tech enthusiasts and power users to purchase Samsung’s current-generation foldable devices by paying only half of each device’s retail price during the first year.

Samsung Galaxy Forever lets you own a Galaxy Z Fold 8 or Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra by spreading the cost over 24 no-cost EMIs. A monthly programme fee is added on top, which covers Samsung Care+ protection. After the initial period, you can return the device for an assured buyback, keep it by paying the balance, or upgrade to a newer Galaxy flagship with minimal hassle. Monthly payouts under the scheme:
The programme fee includes Samsung Care+ covering accidental and liquid damage with zero deductibles. Protection can be used once per year for two years.
You can initiate a return or upgrade between the 10th and 25th months. The assured buyback value (as a percentage of the invoice value) works as follows:
| Period | Assured/Buyback value |
| 10th-11th month | 55 percent |
| 12th-13th month | 50 percent |
| 14th-18th month | 45 percent |
| 19th-25th month | 40 percent |
The return is designed to be straightforward (no-questions-asked under Care+ terms), provided the device powers on, has a verifiable IMEI, and shows no unauthorised tampering.
The Galaxy Forever scheme is accessible via Samsung.com, over 1,500 Samsung Experience Stores across India, and partner financial channels including Samsung Finance+. Special pricing tiers are also extended to eligible corporate employees and students through the Corporate+ and Student+ platforms.
Flagship foldables already command premium prices. With component costs elevated across the industry, programmes like Galaxy Forever lower the entry barrier by spreading payments and offering a clear exit or upgrade path. It allows Samsung to maintain its pricing while making ownership more approachable for buyers who prefer flexibility or annual upgrades.
With Samsung Care+ bundled, it also covers full damage coverage and addresses durability anxieties that first-time foldable buyers often have. Besides that, the programme allows users to upgrade to a new foldable without paying a huge sum.
If the asking price of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 or Z Fold 8 Ultra is an obstacle to purchasing the devices, Galaxy Forever makes monthly payments more manageable while adding robust protection. The built-in buyback and upgrade options are particularly useful if you like switching to the latest model regularly. That said, the programme fee adds a noticeable amount over 24 months, so if you plan to keep the device long-term, a standard no-cost EMI plan without the fee may work out cheaper. Galaxy Forever is best suited for those who value flexibility and protection alongside ownership.
