Samsung Galaxy M67 makes an appearance on Geekbench; could feature Exynos 2200 processor and Android 17
Days after the release of the Samsung Galaxy M47 in India, a Geekbench listing has hinted at the existence of a new Galaxy M series smartphone, which could be called ‘Galaxy M67’. Expected to run on Samsung’s own Exynos chipset, the listing has revealed the device’s key specifications, benchmark numbers, and model number, giving us an idea of where it would be positioned when and if it launches.

Samsung Galaxy M67 details emerge on Geekbench
A Samsung device with the model number SM-M676K has made its appearance on Geekbench. The number suggests that Samsung is currently testing the Galaxy M67 behind the scenes, and its launch shouldn’t be far off now. Furthermore, technology account @yabhishekhd on X states that the ‘K’ suffix in the model number indicates that the listed device is the Korean variant of the Galaxy M67.
As is the case with every unreleased device that emerges on Geekbench, the Samsung handset has undergone single-core and multi-core tests, in which it scored 1,435 and 3,744, respectively. These scores are on par with the Exynos 1680 running on the Galaxy A57.

Moving on to the key specifications, the device is equipped with Samsung’s octa-core S5E9925 SoC, clocked between 1.82GHz and 2.80GHz. This directly points to the 4nm Exynos 2200 processor under the hood. The chipset is paired with 8GB of RAM, while the device runs on Android 17, per the listing.
The Exynos 2200 is a capable chip, and its inclusion here suggests Samsung is aiming for a performance-oriented mid-ranger, while possibly giving an all-rounded experience. As is the case with most Samsung releases, the device could fetch six years of OS and security updates, which has been the major highlight of Samsung devices as of late. This is also the key differentiator for Samsung phones, as users can stay up to date with the latest features and security measures.
When can we expect the Samsung Galaxy M67 to launch
Considering that Samsung is yet to officially roll out the Android 17 update for its top-of-the-line flagships, such as the Galaxy S26 series, Galaxy Z Fold 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7, the Galaxy M67 may only land in the markets once the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 8 series has debuted. This is because it’s highly unlikely that Samsung will release a midrange device with a fresh Android version before its next-gen ultra-premium foldable. The Z Fold 8, Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Z Flip 8 are expected to be announced at Samsung’s Unpacked event on July 22nd.
Considering the processor likely onboard, the device appears to be powered by the Exynos 2200, a flagship chipset that previously powered the Galaxy S22 series. This suggests the handset will be positioned significantly higher than the Galaxy M47 and could comfortably cross the Rs 30,000 price mark. However, since the M-series is Samsung’s online-exclusive lineup, the company may still price it aggressively.
Provided that it’s priced above Rs 30,000, the Galaxy M67 is likely to compete with the OnePlus Nord CE 6, Vivo T5 Pro, and the POCO X8 Pro, all of which carry large batteries, bright AMOLED displays, and strong durability with high IP ratings.
