Samsung Galaxy S26 FE spotted alongside M47 5G, F70 Pro 5G in early listings

The Galaxy S26 FE is the next Fan Edition model, likely arriving in the second half of the year if Samsung sticks to its usual September window. As with previous FE devices, it should sit just below the main Galaxy S26 lineup, offering a similar overall experience at a lower price.

The other two devices, the Galaxy M47 5G and Galaxy F70 Pro 5G, will cover the mid-range across online and offline channels. The M series usually leans into battery life, while the F series tends to balance things out for a younger audience. The Galaxy M47 5G (SM-M476B/DS) marks a return to the M4x series after a gap since the Galaxy M44 5G. The Galaxy F70 Pro 5G (SM-E476B/DS) with the ‘Pro’ tag could indicate upgrades in areas like camera hardware and charging speeds.

With the FE models, Samsung typically keeps the display and cameras strong, while making some trade-offs elsewhere to keep costs in check. The Galaxy S25 FE, for instance, launched at Rs 59,999 with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display and Exynos 2400 chip. The S26 FE is expected to continue in the same direction, possibly with the 2nm Exynos 2600 processor.

Samsung seems to be sticking to a formula that has worked for it, rather than trying something new. The FE model continues to sit in an in-between space, offering a near-flagship experience without going all the way up in price, while the M and F series split the mid-range based on what people care about more. That approach matters more now because brands like OnePlus, iQOO, and Xiaomi are pushing harder on specs at similar prices. If the Galaxy S26 FE does come with a newer Exynos chip that actually delivers a noticeable jump in performance, it would go a long way in keeping Samsung competitive in the Rs 50,000 – Rs 60,000 range, where buyers are looking beyond just brand and focusing more on what they’re getting for the price.
