Samsung has expanded its premium home audio portfolio in India with the launch of the Music Studio Series. The new lineup includes the Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7 Wi-Fi speakers, both designed to work as standalone speakers or as part of Samsung’s wider audio ecosystem with compatible TVs and soundbars.
The new speakers focus on wireless connectivity, immersive audio and smart home integration, placing them in the same premium Wi-Fi speaker category as offerings from brands such as Sonos, Bose and Marshall. Unlike portable Bluetooth speakers, Samsung is positioning the Music Studio range as a home audio solution that can also integrate with its televisions for a more immersive entertainment experience.
Lineup
The Music Studio Series comprises two models: the Music Studio 5 (LS50H) and the flagship Music Studio 7 (LS70H). Both feature a new “dot” design created by French designer Erwan Bouroullec, inspired by universal symbols used in music and art. The Music Studio 7 is the more premium model, featuring a 3.1.1-channel speaker setup with left, centre, right and top-firing drivers for spatial audio. It can be used on its own or paired with compatible Samsung speakers and TVs to create a larger surround sound setup.
The smaller Music Studio 5 is designed for users looking for a compact speaker that blends into home interiors. It features a woofer paired with dual tweeters and is tuned by Samsung Audio Lab for balanced sound.
Core technology and features
Both speakers support Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, along with music streaming services and voice control. Samsung has also included AI Dynamic Bass Control, which is designed to improve low-frequency performance while reducing distortion.
A key highlight is enhanced Q-Symphony support, which lets users pair up to five compatible Samsung audio devices with a Samsung TV. The system intelligently distributes audio channels across connected speakers to create a more immersive listening experience instead of relying on a single sound source. The speakers also integrate with Samsung’s SmartThings platform, allowing users to control playback, adjust settings and manage multiple speakers from a single app.
The launch strengthens Samsung’s connected home ecosystem, giving existing Samsung TV owners another option beyond traditional soundbars. Buyers already invested in Samsung products are likely to benefit the most from features such as Q-Symphony and SmartThings.
Pricing and India availability
The Samsung Music Studio Series is available through Samsung’s online store, major e-commerce platforms and leading offline retailers. The lineup starts at Rs 27,900, although Samsung has not yet announced individual pricing for the Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7.
The Music Studio Series is best suited to those already using Samsung TVs or planning to build a Samsung smart home setup. The speakers’ biggest advantage lies in their ecosystem integration, while buyers simply looking for a standalone Wi-Fi speaker may also want to compare alternatives.
