As such, OnePlus worked closely with Qualcomm to address the inconsistency between CPU output and the performance required by applications in the OnePlus 12. The CPU Vitalization technology in the Trinity Engine helps create a synergy between hardware and software to allow for fast and smooth performance. When running resource-intensive applications, the OnePlus 12 shows lower power consumption compared to its competitors. It should maintain smooth performance even after several years of use. Meanwhile, it uses cutting-edge I/O vitalisation technology to significantly improve read/write efficiency for fast and smooth performance. But that is not all, it claims to save up to 20GB of storage on the 256GB variant of the phone while keeping the device lag-free after 48 months of average use.
RAM Vitalization
RAM Vitalization is designed to make the most of the large amount of RAM that the OnePlus 12 has to offer. It uses advanced RAM performance acceleration technology to intelligently allocate memory resources. It does this by selecting resident RAM, releasing memory from ongoing tasking and then reallocating resource-intensive processes and multitasking. This is then paired with a suite of in-house technologies such as Super Lock, dedicated RAM assignment, and CPU bandwidth acceleration. Together, it can reconstruct the underlying Android memory mechanism to reduce issues like lock contention and background process killing.
Of course, aside from a consistent, fast and smooth experience, the new OnePlus 12 smartphone has a lot to offer consumers. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 512GB UFS 4.0 ROM. Meanwhile, the Dual Cryo-velocity VC Cooling System ensures optimal performance even during extended gaming sessions. At the front is a massive 6.82-inch 2K 120Hz ProXDR Display that should allow for immersive visuals with smooth transitions and scrolling. When the time comes to charge the device, users can choose from 80W SUPERVOOC Fast Charging and 50W AIRVOOC Wireless Charging.
In terms of optics, consumers get a triple-rear camera setup with a 50MP primary camera, a 64MP 3x Periscope Telephoto camera and a 48MP ultra-wide camera with a 114-degree FoV. The camera also gets the help of Hasselblad’s expertise to ensure great image quality.
