Vivo S2 FE key specifications, India pricing tipped ahead of launch
Vivo S2 FE is set to launch in India on October 6th, alongside the Vivo V80. As the name suggests, this smartphone will be the ‘Fan Edition’ of the Vivo S2, which launched in India last month. Vivo S2 FE is teased to offer Vivo’s largest battery, a sleek youth-centric design, distinctive aesthetics, and an immersive display. The company has yet to reveal the specifications, but key details, including its possible pricing, have been leaked.

According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the Vivo S2 FE will launch with a 6.7-inch display and house a 7,000mAh+ battery. Leaks suggest the Vivo S2 FE will house a 10,000mAh battery, which would be the largest on a Vivo phone yet. The smartphone is also expected to feature a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary sensor at the back. On the software front, it will run OriginOS 6 out of the box and also feature IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

The tipster adds that the Vivo S2 FE will be priced between Rs 30,000 and Rs 40,000 in India. This would make it more affordable than the Vivo S2, which starts at Rs 42,999. This pricing aligns with a recent leak of the Vivo S2 FE’s box price, claimed to be Rs 39,999. The launch price is usually lower than the box price.
Earlier leaks suggest the Vivo S2 FE will launch with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset and a reported 3,800 sq mm VC cooling system. The smartphone is also tipped to feature a 32MP selfie camera.
If the Vivo S2 FE does launch with a 10,000mAh battery, it would be one of the few devices in the segment with this big a battery. It would also give the Realme P4 direct competition, which comes with a 10,001mAh battery and is priced under Rs 40,000. So, if you’re considering a phone for its large battery and an overall balanced package, the Vivo S2 FE could be worth waiting for.
