Vivo has launched new memory configurations for its T5 Pro and T5 Lite smartphones. The Vivo T5 Lite gets a 4GB RAM variant, while the T5 Pro now comes in a 6GB RAM variant. Both smartphones cater to the mid-range segment, with the T5 Lite being the affordable option here. Here are the complete details.
Vivo T5 Lite new variant launch
A new 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant for the Vivo T5 Lite has been listed on Flipkart. This variant isn’t available to purchase right now, but interestingly it’s priced at Rs 30,999. This could be a placeholder price, as the T5 Lite starts at Rs 20,499 for the base variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. So naturally, the 4GB + 64GB variant would be priced even lower, possibly under Rs 20,000.
Vivo T5 Lite is currently available in three variants: 4GB + 128GB (Rs 20,499), 6GB + 128GB (Rs 22,999) and 6GB + 256GB (Rs 26,999).
Vivo T5 Pro new variant launch
Similarly, the Vivo T5 Pro is also listed on Flipkart in a new memory configuration. The smartphone will soon launch with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It would be the new base variant joining the other two existing ones: 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. Pricing for the T5 Pro 6GB + 128GB is also not official, as Flipkart shows Rs 49,999, which is higher than the other two variants, which start at Rs 41,999.
Vivo T5 Pro can be purchased in two variants: 8GB + 128GB (Rs 41,999) and 8GB + 256GB (Rs 46,999).
The new Vivo T5 Lite and T5 Pro variants will be available during Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sale starting on October 8th. Since both phones are getting cheaper variants, it gives buyers more options at more accessible prices. The launch also comes at a time when smartphone prices are increasing at a rapid rate due to rising memory costs. This would be a way for Vivo to help curb the price hikes.
If you’re on a tight budget and primarily use your phone for basic tasks, the new 4GB T5 Lite might be a compelling option during the sale. However, for smoother multitasking and future-proofing, the 6GB variant is still recommended if your budget allows. The 6GB T5 Pro makes sense for people who want a large-battery phone, as the handset packs a massive 9,020mAh battery.
