Vivo X300 FE launches in Europe for €999 with 50MP telephoto lens, 6,500mAh battery
Vivo X300 FE is set to launch in India on May 6th, alongside the Vivo X300 Ultra. The X300 FE will be Vivo’s new compact smartphone, succeeding last year’s X200 FE. Compact flagships became mainstream last year, and Vivo is continuing the trend with the latest device. However, a lot is changing this year, especially with the price. The Vivo X200 FE launched at Rs 54,999, making it a considerable alternative to compact flagships, while still offering Zeiss cameras, a large battery, and good performance. The Vivo X300 FE has now launched in Europe for €999, a steep increase from the previous model.
Vivo X300 FE pricing details
The Vivo X300 FE has been launched in select European markets, including Spain, Austria, and Hungary. It carries a price tag of €999, which translates to around Rs 1,11,112. European prices are usually on the higher side, so they would be comparatively lower in markets like India. But it still signals a price hike, which might be more than expected from the Vivo X300 FE in India. There’s another bundle with the Zeiss Professional Kit, which includes a Zeiss Gen 2 Telephoto Extender Lens (200mm), the case for the phone, a carrying case for the lens, and a lanyard. This bundle is priced at €1,200 (Rs 1,33,468 approx). Vivo is launching the extended kit in India as well.
Vivo X300 FE specifications
Although the price will be different, the specifications remain the same for the Vivo X300 FE, arriving in India next week. Here’s what to expect:

The Vivo X300 FE might sit closer to the flagship segment with a rumoured price of Rs around Rs 79,999. Its Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset is fast, but still not a flagship model. The 6,500mAh battery is still quite good for a compact phone, and should easily last an entire day. The Vivo X300 FE’s camera setup also offers enough versatility for casual and photography enthusiasts. We’ll still have to wait for the official pricing and see where the X300 FE stands, and how it compares with rivals in the same segment, and interestingly, the Vivo X300, which is priced at Rs 75,999. The increased price is most likely due to rising component costs affecting the smartphone industry.
If you prioritise a compact form factor with a strong camera and large battery, the X300 FE might be worth considering, but those sensitive to price should wait for the India launch and full reviews.
