Xiaomi 15 Ultra is set to launch in China next month, as confirmed by the brand’s president, Lu Weibing. Much like the Xiaomi 14 Ultra last year, the successor could also debut globally at MWC 2025 in Barcelona, which starts on March 3rd. India’s launch could also be on the cards as it has already bagged the BIS certification. Ahead of the announcement, 91mobiles, in association with Sudhanshu Ambhore, brings you the Xiaomi 15 Ultra global model’s memory and colour options.

Sudhanshu tells us the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be available in at least a 16GB + 512GB storage option. To recall, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is also available in the same configuration. Furthermore, the phone will be available in black, white, and silver colour options. In comparison, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra comes in just black and white colour options with a vegan leather finish.
That’s pretty much everything that we know about the Xiaomi 15 Ultra at the moment. The recently leaked hands-on image reveals that while the overall design hasn’t changed much, the camera sensor placement in the large protruding circular module has been tweaked. There is also Leica branding within the camera model.
The frame surrounding the circular module has a red-colour accent to give it a distinguished look. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra can be seen in a black colour, and the back panel appears to have a sort of textured finish. In terms of specifications, here’s what’s leaked.
The Xiaomi flagship could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, which is an upgrade from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 on the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. The phone could house a large 6,000mAh battery and get 90W wired fast charging, as revealed by the 3C certification. There could also be 50W wireless charging support.
In comparison, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra has a 5,300mAh cell and 90W wired and 80W wireless charging support. It is said that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra could be the only ‘imaging flagship’ with a 1-inch main camera and a 200MP periscope lens. However, details of other sensors are under wraps, for now.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is also said to come with satellite connectivity and is expected to be the first flagship from the brand with eSIM connectivity.
While the India launch date of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is not explicitly revealed, a recent leak said that the Xiaomi 15 series may debut in India in February, and this might include the Ultra variant. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra debuted in the country in March 2024 at Rs 99,999.
With the combination of upgraded hardware, potential camera breakthroughs, and premium design refinements, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated Android flagships of 2025. If Xiaomi delivers on the leaked specifications, especially the 1-inch main sensor paired with a 200MP periscope lens, the phone could set a new benchmark for mobile photography. With global and possibly India launches on the horizon, all eyes will be on how Xiaomi positions the 15 Ultra against rivals from Samsung, Vivo, and Apple in the ultra-premium segment.
