Xiaomi has expanded its flagship smartphone lineup in China with the launch of the Xiaomi 17 Max. Unveiled during the company’s May 2026 launch event alongside the Xiaomi YU7 GT, Xiaomi Band 10 Pro, and Xiaomi Ear Clip TWS, the new handset positions itself as the battery-focused powerhouse of the Xiaomi 17 series. The flagship lineup already has the Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, and Xiaomi 17 Ultra.

The Xiaomi 17 Max brings together a massive 8,000mAh battery, flagship Snapdragon silicon, and Leica-branded imaging hardware, offering a combination that appears aimed at power users who want long endurance in a flagship phone.

Xiaomi 17 Max price, availability

The Xiaomi 17 Max starts at CNY 4,799 (Rs 67,800 approx) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. It comes in three more variants with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. It is currently up for pre-orders in China and will officially go on sale on May 25th. Buyers can choose between Pixel Black, Sky Blue, and White colourways.
