The Xiaomi 17T may retail in India at Rs 65,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The tipster hasn’t shared the pricing of the top-end 512GB storage variant, which is available in Europe at roughly Rs 89,000.
The leaked pricing places the Xiaomi 17T squarely in the upper mid-range segment, where it will compete against the likes of the Motorola Signature, Vivo X200T, and Samsung Galaxy A56. On paper, however, Xiaomi appears to have a clear advantage, thanks to its massive 6,500mAh battery and a versatile Leica-tuned camera system, highlighted by a 5x optical telephoto lens, features that are rarely found together at this price point.

The Xiaomi 17T sports a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, full DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage, and up to 3,500 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the mid-range MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset, paired with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. Xiaomi has also included its in-house Surge T1 Plus and T1S chips, alongside a 3D IceLoop cooling system for improved thermal management.
For photography, the Leica-backed triple-camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. A 32MP front camera handles selfies and video calls. Software-wise, the smartphone runs HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 and packs a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery with 67W wired fast charging. It also supports Astro Communication, which is claimed to enable offline communication over distances of up to 1.3 kilometres in certain situations.
