Good product in good price, Nice experience with snapdeal

If I have to sum it up, NEVER buy a large appliance from Snapdeal. I bought the IFB Senator Aqua SX model in Sep 2016 from Snapdeal and when the machine was delivered it had a top panel broken. The technician installed the machine assuring that panel will be replaced by logging a complaint with Snapdeal. Next day, I logged the complaint uploading picture of the broken panel. And my series of issues started after that. For the last 4 months and 15 calls later, Snapdeal has not resolved the issue. Every time, I get to talk to a new customer service rep and I have to repeat the same issue over and over again. Customer Service Rep has a standard reply about apologizing for the issue, and that she will resolve the issue in next 24 hours. But nothing happens to resolve the issue. One time, I have been told that I will be offered a compensation and when I asked for some details, the call mysteriously got dropped. They close the old request and generate a new request number (dishonest practice to probably show that the issue is very recent. The latest issue reference no. is 30419983). They have told me that their back-end team has contacted me and I was not reachable (another dishonest communication, when I did not receive any call). Their supervisors never come on the call to talk to you (after putting on hold for 15 mins, the call disconnects. Wondering why would supervisor not call a customer, when they have the customer's number). I am repenting my decision to buy from Snapdeal to save a few 100Rs. If I would have bought it from a store nearby, I am sure this would have got addressed immediately. In case of purchase through Snapdeal, there is no way you can contact the seller, so you are stuck with the service that Snapdeal offers which is unfriendly at the least, and dishonest at the worst. I am planning to log a complaint through the consumer court. Snapdeal - let's see you unbox this!
