I found it perfect for storing large files and transferring files between my Galaxy Note 3 and Xperia tablet. With a pretty impressive speed Kingstone microDuo 3.0 is worthy if you do not have the support of a microSD card slot. Ok product. Firstly format the drive to exFAT. Only n00bs & crap android phones use FAT32 aged file system. New android ones etc support exFAT & that is the future. Anyway write speeds are not good fluctuating a LOT goes from 60 MB/s to 10 MB/s settling down to 14-17 MB/s Makes me wonder if Kingston is using cheap NAND memory in this. They could be they are known for it. Can't really recommend this unless its priced appropriately at your time of purchase. The Cap is removable though which is a MAJOR PLUS! Hate that remove cap nuisance now you just plug in & go. Perfect for watching movies on my Nexus 5 via Chromecast. Said BYE to HTPC, media players & other craps Edit - This thing gets HOT!! I can't believe this..nothing wrong with my phone or this drive or anything but damn this thing gets HOT as fire if you use it for an hour straight..due to a metal body is unlikely..cheap NAND is the cause. Can't trust your data with this for movies & music its ok. Changing rating from 3 to 2. Not recommended unless priced appropriately!
