Lenovo Essential B490 features a 14-inch HD LED display with resolution of 1366x768 pixels. The HD display provides a crisp vision. The device holds a standard keyboard and a touchpad for pointing . The laptop comes in impressive black color with matte finish and designed with sharp edges. 

Processor and OS

The device is powered by a intel core i3 3110 processor clocked at speed of 2.4GHz providing a decent performance, to manage multiple tasks at a time, paired-up with 4GB DDR3 RAM which is expandable up to 8GB and cache memory of 3GB. The device comes with a DOS OS, which is flexible, you can update with OS of your choice, supporting up to the latest Windows 8 OS. The device possess a intel HD graphics processor, for better graphics.

The Lenovo Essential B490 holds a mediocre 0.3 megapixel webcam, for video calling purposes.
