Verdict
Lenovo's latest product comes with an excellent display, great processing power, good storage space and enough connectivity options. The Windows 7 Professional is a minor disappointment, since Windows 8 has been released, but given the specs, upgrade to Windows 8 should be easy. With this minor problem removed, this device can be considered perfect for those who prefer a laptop which can deliver consistent performance even under high workloads.
Powerful beast with good looks

Design and Display

The Lenovo E430 comes in a nice looking black casing that is easy to handle, and doesn't add any significant weight to the device. For easy input, an UltraNav keyboard and multi-touch touchpad have been provided. A 14 inches HD (1366 x 768 pixels resolution) AntiGlare LED Backlit display ensures that while visuals are of stunning clarity, long viewing hours don't put undue strain on the eyes.

Processor and OS

Beneath the nice exterior is a powerful 2.5 GHz Intel 2nd Gen Core i5 processor (2520M variant). Coupled with a good 4GB of RAM, it delivers crisp processing even under heavy workloads. Gamers can enjoy high-end games thanks to the Intel HD Graphics 3000 GPU. The device sails on the trusted Windows 7 Professional.

Camera, Storage and Multimedia

The HD webcam on the device ensures a good video chatting experience. All important files can be easily stored on the large 500GB hard disk. For backing up files onto optical disks (CD/DVD), a DVD-RW drive has also been provided. Dolby Advanced Audio ensures superb audio output from this device.
