Verdict
This glossy brown Lenovo Essential laptop is an all-purpose device from Lenovo and has all the expected standard features but with certain limitations on storage capacity, webcam and RAM memory. Nevertheless, it has pretty good battery backup, flexible OS, viable processor and more importantly the machine is economical.

Display and Design

Lenovo Essential G580 (59-349281) is a 15.6-inch HD LED display laptop with 1,366 x 768 pixels resolution. It comes in glossy brown colored body and its input devices are standard keyboard with a numeric keypad and a touchpad.

Hardware and OS

The laptop is equipped with Intel Core i3 2328 2nd Gen processor with Intel HM65 Express chipset.with a decent clock speed of 2.4GHz. The RAM memory is 4GB which can be expanded to 8GB via memory slots. The laptop has an Nvidia GT 520M graphics processor. 

The laptop runs on flexible Windows operating system which is 64 bit Windows 7. 

Memory and Entertainment

The Lenovo laptop has 320GB SATA HDD storage for safekeeping all the important data. It has 0.3MP webcam for Skype and other webcam video chat applications and also for taking webcam photos.
