Laptop Specs

Kindly confirm two things so that i can finalize the laptop : 1. Will it come with MS Windows 8 Professional (64 Bit) -with Win 7 Pro (64 bit) downgrade option (Win 7 Pre-loaded ) 2.What will be display type like HD (1366 x 768) or HD + (1600 x 900) Kindly confirm the above.

Not worth the price with Win 8 Pro. No proof of genuine WindowsNo GML beneath the laptop

The specifications shown in the ad are somewhat untrue, that's what I feel with the following things. 1. No Microsoft Windows 7 Pro GML present on the backside of the laptop. Search on the internet for Microsoft How-To-Tell and learn about it from there. 2. If anyone is looking for a good Windows 8 Pro OS in this laptop preloaded ask before you buy. Otherwise you will keep calling Lenovo Customer Support with annoyance and nothing on hand. I brought this same model 2349-OH4 from a Bangalore based dealer and now I feel I am cheated. I paid 92000+ bucks. Although it came with Windows 8 Pro license embedded in the BIOS, the Windows 8 Pro wasn't preloaded. Instead it was Windows 7 Pro. When asked about it to the dealer he simply asked me to call the Lenovo Support for getting a DVD. And for Gods sake don't ever believe the dealers. If they say it has Windows 8 Pro then it should be preloaded and not just the key inside the BIOS. You will simply keep wandering nowhere for Windows 8 Pro media(for which Lenovo too doesn't support at all). I myself filed a case of anti-piracy against this issue with Microsoft and guess what after doing this I was assured a support from Lenovo with a new Order. How cheap!. I hope Lenovo knows that. But performance of the laptop is good. All other specs related to hardware are OK except maximum RAM supported. I felt it supported a max of 16GB RAM but here it shows 8 GB. Actually I will have 2 licenses now 1 for Win 7 Pro and another for Win 8 Pro in this laptop. Thats good. But quarrel and annoyance came along its way of course. So be sure to contact the vendor of the specs and also GML label below the laptop (MOST IMPORTANT). This laptop doesn't have COA stickers as were in previous OEM purchases. Otherwise get ready to be cheated. Out of my experience I give it a 1. For pricing of this laptop I feel it's OK but again confirm Win 7 is licensed.(It doesn't seem so from the images that are posted here).
