Display, Design and Configuration
The Lenovo Yoga 8 16GB 3G features a 8-inch IPS LCD multi touch display with a resolution of 800 x 1,280 pixels and a pixel density of 189ppi. Although the viewing angles are good, the colors look a bit off and images are not sharp.
It is wrapped in a sleek 7.3mm outfit which is easy to be carried around. It has a weight of 404g which pretty light especially if the cylindrical battery portion is considered. It also has a kickstand which can be opened and rested on a flat surface.
The slate is loaded with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor sitting on MediaTek MT8389 chipset paired with 1GB RAM. The processor can be a bit sluggish while running powerful games. It runs on dated Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS which looks pretty confusing with the modification.
Camera and Storage
The Lenovo Yoga 8 16GB 3G carries a 5MP autofocus camera at the back and a 1.6MP shooter on the front. It has an internal memory of 16GB expandable up to 64GB.
Battery and Connectivity
One of the key attractions of the Lenovo Yoga 8 16GB 3G is its powerful 6,000mAh Li-ion battery which is capable of rendering uninterrupted service at least for a day. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS/A-GPS and USB port.
