I am seriously very disappointed with flipkart. Their delivery time was perfect I got it the next day, but after I opened it up I realized that it has a 820M instead of a 840M(N15S-GT) as advertised here. I thought flipkart was professional, but this is a really annoying it took me a long time to convince my parents to let me buy from flipkart they warned me about it but I said they won't send fake products or something similar. Now I am hoping for a quick refund/replacement and it better be quick, otherwise I think I will stop buying from here all together. Edit(9/11/14): They fixed the product details, but still nothing on my refund
The Flipkart page for this Laptop mentions that it has 2GB of DDR3 N15S-GT Graphic Card (N15S-GT is the code name for NVIDIA GEFORCE 840M Graphics card). However, in reality the laptop has 2GB of DDR3 NVIDIA GEFORCE 820M Graphics card. There is a huge difference between GEFORCE 840M and GEFORCE 820M, simply you can understand it as GEFORCE 840M is twice the capability of GEFORCE 820M. Here is the comparison: GEFORCE 820M = 2.5*(Performance of HD4400) GEFORCE 840M = 5*(Performance of HD4400) HD4400 is the inbuilt graphics processors with many of the Intel processors. So, 2GB of GEFORCE 820M is equal to 1GB of GEFORCE 840M. Flipkart this is not a good thing to provide your customers with wrong information, and this is not the first time it has happened with me. I got this laptop after I returned another laptop, I had to return it because even in that case flipkart page had provided wrong information about some critical aspects of the laptop. I demand a permanent solution for my problem. Other than above mentioned problem I would like to provide some Pros and Cons of this Laptop. Pros: - The look of the laptop is good, not so stunning but rather on a modest side. - Battery backup is good, around 4-5 hours on moderate use like web surfing or working on a document. - Webcam is of Ok quality, but that is just the case with all the laptops in this price segment. - Sound is good, better than the rest of the laptops out there. - Build of the laptop is solid and good. - There is very less heat generation during normal use. Cons: - The laptop comes with lots of Lenovo bloatware, it makes the laptop slow and takes some time to clean it up. - The keyboard is of substandard quality. - The size of the laptop is huge, the bezels around the screen is too wide, which added to 15.6 inch screen, increases the overall size of the laptop. - Finishing of the laptop is not good, it feels as if the lower and upper part of the screen and the base will split up if opened with haste. - Boot time is not so fast. If I find anything else I will post it soon. Also, the delivery by Flipkart was very very fast, I received the product within almost 13 hours of ordering it.
By looking at the specification, I thought it suits my requirement. But within two days of using this machine, The panel colour is fading away, dark patches appeared on the external panel and no more it is brand new, It looks like a old one. Now I have raised a request to replace or refund. Still waiting for the reply from FlipKart. Think twice before bying this product.
very silent machine - low heating - good memory management but Lot of unwanted softwares, packing good, flipkart delivered the next day, good piece
lenovo z 50-70 works well after recovery for the first time. otherwise if the recovery is not done then it acts as if it is a very old version laptop and also like RAM less laptop
