Exchanged my old 26" LG TV (2006 model) for this model in the hope that with the advancement of technology the quality will be as good as 2006 or better. When the technician installed and switched on the TV, I was horrified by the quality of the TV. I am surprised to see that LG has the audacity to sell this kind of product in India. My observations of the TV are as below.nnI compare this LG 32LB515A model made in 2014 with LG 26LX2R made in the 2006. nn- Build quality of the 2006 model was like a battle tank, heavy and solid. This one is far lighter - well may be due to cost factors.nn- New TV is a lot slimmer.nn- The feature list is a lot longer than the 2006 modelnnnStandard definition (320p)n----------------------------n- Standard definition channels are terrible to watch - Colors are washed out and the picture is blurrednn- Colors bleed around the subject in standard definition - especially REDnn- Contrast ratio is pathetic - the hair highlight looks like grey hair. The blacks in the picture are at best a washed out greynn- Color saturation is awful - they do not saturate uniformly (Red and Blue oversaturate and the other colors are washed out)nn- Skin tones are either pink, green or orange. The skin tones appear as botches on the skin with a grey outline. Any amount of fiddling with the settings does not correct itnn- Wrong color (A navy blue blazer of the news reader shows up as purple). I could not get this right with any amount of fiddling with the settingsnn- Poor color depth- I have a CRT TV of LG bought in 2000 and the colors in that have more depth, sharpness (even when sharpness set to zero) contrast, proper skin tones and look natural. This model has bizzare skin tones and awful sharpness (when sharpness set to 0, the picture is blurred - yes blurred (you will start doubting your eyes) and when sharpness is set to about 50, there is a halo around the edges in the picture.nn- Narrow viewing angle. LG claims 89 degrees, however it is about 40 degrees. Beyond 40 degrees (UP, DN and Left, Right) the display dims out and the colors are washed out.nnHi Definition (720p)n-----------------------n- Sharpness improves, but nowhere near the 2006 model LCD TVnn- Color bleed is controlled here nn- To continue testing the sharpness and color rendition, I connected a SONY PSP3 to the HDMI port and the images sharpness improved but the colors were still off. Eg: The blood in the game that should show up as deep red shows up as lipstick pink.nn- Contrast continues to be poor. Even at the highest setting, the blacks remain greynn- Images that were rendered were ash grey where it had to be shiny greynn- I am unhappy with the product and do not want to use it. nnI have asked for return / refund. Flipkart asked the LG technician to check the TV on my complaint. The technician refused to accept that these are major issues. His justification was if two 32LB515A (this model) TVs looked the same then this TV is fine. I offered to take him to a store close-by to compare the picture quality of this model with other brands and he refused. He wrote on his job sheet as - "Technically as per standard" and asked me to sign the sheet. I listed out all the above problems on his job-sheet and nothing came out of it. Flipkart believes the technician more than the customer paying his hard earned money and Flipkart as well as LG are refusing citing policy issues (return or replacement only if the product is damaged or defective) and this was neither damaged or defective. My argument that the product was ."defective by design" fell on deaf ears of the Flipkart customer care. nnFinally managed to return the TV for a refund citing product specification issues. nnBrand loyalty is a hoax and no brand gives a damn to its paying customers. nnRecommendation : nnDon't even think of buying this TV. There are a lot number of better TVs that are made by LGs competitors in this price range.

I am using this TV for 3 months now. The TV is good. Very sleek and light weight. 32" screen size is good enough to watch from 8-10 feet distance. Its HD ready but doesn't feel any less than Full HD TVs. The Picture quality is just great. I have connected my portable hard disk (WD 1 TB) to this and I watch all my HD movies in this TV. Much better than watching on laptop !!! Great sound and the quality doesn't deteriorate even at full volume. It has one HDMI port as well but I have not tried that yet. (FYI - using Tata Sky HD connection with this TV).nnOverall a very good TV for its price range.nnFlipkart's delivery was great and the LG technician also came home the very next day. So, overall very much satisfied with their service.

I bought this TV from flipkart and was delivered on scheduled time.nBut the technician who came to install it was little bit rude type person. nLG service support is good at all.nnPicture quality is good for an average size room, as it is 24 inch so from far the display will not give you the desired look or angle. nSound is not too loud/good but its ok for an average LED (I think one should try Sony for better sound quality, I have not used but I think the sound quality of Sony would be better than this product)nOverall its cool for a small room

first of all,thnks to flipkart for a reasonable deal of Rs.13,197.now to the rest of it:nthe TV is workin perfectly fine and fantastic!!i have a local connection,which this LG tv makes it more clear!!the delivery was good,and the installation guys to did the work without any probs!i have no complains against flipkart. and the TV,it is worth the money!!tough it's just 24 inches it gives a clean vision,and it also has a set top box table with free installation. I saynDON'T HESITATE

I purchased this TV 4 months back and it is running perfectly fine. In SONY if you change viewing angle picture will became little whitish but LG rectified this issue. Few people says sound is low. Believe me if you are using it in a 12X12 room, its sound is awesome. you do not need a sound box Picture and sound clarity is pretty good. Always remember in India LG provides better service. Go for it guys. It is worth buying.
